These are solid good-looking hooks, smaller than you think, so ideal for cruise travel. The magnetic base and the hook are separate, so you screw them together, a useful feature enabling flat packing. The magnetic pull is more powerful than you expect, but one minor quirk is that there has to be enough friction on the metal surface, or the hook will slide downwards under a lot of weight. I have not hung the advertised 30lbs but my sense is that the hook is strong enough, depending upon the surface friction.

These hooks are serving me very well in my workshop. I'm happily surprised by the strength of the magnets, the hooks aren't overly large but can really support a lot of load, especially if installed vertically as opposed to horizontally, although horizontally they work also.These aren't just for handing your car keys on, I've hung both a 24 inch pipe wrench and a 15 inch adjustable on them, so they can pretty much be used for just about anything that would fit onto the hook.This is a very good product, well worth the purchase price.

I was surprised at how small these are when I received them. I'm horrible at conceptualizing size from measurements. I don't hold this against the product but in case you're like me, the hooks are pretty small.I do like that the hook screws into the magnet. I haven't had any problems with the hook breaking off.The magnets are pretty strong, especially for the size. However, I'm not sure what the 30 pounds is meant to mean because these magnets will not hold 30 pounds or anything close to it.

Perfect for traveling, easy to take with you.They appeared smaller than the pictures on the internet, but they worked excellent.Used these on a cruise ship, and it was very nice. You could put them on the wall in the bathroom to hang wet swimsuits. I also put some in the cabin, and they worked great for hanging up necklaces, hats, and your cruise badges. Helped keep things organized in the cabin. They could hold a towel, and clothes (like blouses or shirts) but are not made to hold heavy items. The colors are great, and like I said was not hard to take them with me in my luggage as they are small and light weight. I loved that they help keep things organized in the cabin, and we had 4 adults in our room. These little magnets help us keep everything off the floor, or lost in a drawer.

These shipped quickly and are perfect for using on the fireplace. Of course, don’t do this close to any flames or remove items when you make a fire. But, for what I needed, including that I’ll use them for stockings at Christmas, they’re just right. These aren’t big hooks and just right for me. Although small they are strong and hold very well. You do have to screw in the hook, but that’s not a problem and it makes them easier to store.

I first found these at work and noticed how useful they were. We use them in a machine shop for nearly everything magnet related. The utility of the hook is surprising. I would not have thought that a magnetic hook would have so many uses.I use them at home to hang up headphones, keep wires out of the way and neat, pin paper to my desk and hold a pen for writing on it, they're also fun to fidget with.The magnets are strong as well. I found them adequate for all my needs. One thing to be aware of is the hook coming loose and over tightening it when its reinserted. If its overtightened it can push the magnet out the back causing less than ideal results.
