5.0 out of 5 stars Great bag!
We had this exact backpack for 3 years of elementary school. When it started looking bad (it still worked fine then) I changed brands. For 2 years I bought a different brand and had to replace it before the school year was out. So I went back. This is a durable bag, is a great value for the cost. The color is great (navy) and it is sturdy and easy to travel with. It functions as it should and has plenty of pockets including a laptop one. Very durable and I would definitely recommend it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Takes a beating and hold up well...
So we haven't used this new one yet but it is EXACTLY the same as the one that was bought for my son at the start of his 6th grade year. And let me tell you, every year he has chosen to carry his 'day' around in that bookbag instead of using his locker for most things. It weighs a ton! Like 20+ pounds. Probably closer to 30. The zipper finally gave way and wants to separate but seriously, he just finished 9th grade and it broke the last week of school for him. If you didn't know about the zipper issue, you'd think it was practically brand new. It doesn't stain much that I can tell and it doesn't rip or tear. Only cosmetic damage. When asked what he would like to get as a replacement he wanted the same bag and the same color. In the pictures, you see the brand new bag and the one he used for 3 years. And let me tell you, that bag has been dropped to the floor every day at home and who knows what at school. :) It's been tossed in the back of the van and crowded in the foot area of the front passenger seat. Well worth the price than having a bag too small and needing to be replaced each year. Highly recommend. Very spacious. Fits a water bottle on the side and my son likes putting pens/pencils in that spot too. The bags ARE the same size, I checked. The new one just looks a little smaller because nothing is in it and the straps are still pulled tight. My son's still has quite a bit in it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Tough bag with lots of pockets!
This is our go to bag that is so durable. My child Carrie’s a lot of things and this bag can handle it. It’s really well constructed and she appreciates the solid color, sporty design.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good backpack
I bought for my son, he love it.good color good size
4.0 out of 5 stars Very Roomy Backpack
Very roomy and adequate for use as a day pack, which is my primary use. Lot of zippers, compartments and a nice felt lined small compartment for your iPod and/or phone. It does stand up by itself. Downsides: 1) the straps are not really well padded, so somewhat uncomfortabe; 2) the zipper on the main compartment is difficult to zip - this because there is a kind of cover over the zipper that interferes with the zipper operation. You can try and "fold" this zipper cover over, but it always manages to fall back in place. The cover is supposed to deflect water I suppose, but the design is a bit annoying as it is a constant interference.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for travel and high school
Perfect size and sturdy. We have 3 similar backpacks and have only ever had issues with 1 coming unstitched inside.
1.0 out of 5 stars Bad quality
Loved the first backpack I had and used for 3 years. The seams attaching the strap started to rip so I ordered a new replacement expecting at least another 3 years of use. Instead, I've used the new bad for less than 3 weeks and the strap started ripping in the same spot. Completely unacceptable level of quality.
5.0 out of 5 stars Durable
Works great and good sizing/location of pockets / compartments
Been using high sierra brand backpacks for 8 years
This backpack would suit a middle/highschool/college aged student. Nice and roomy.
Underrated
The best bag I ever owned! Its so solid, feels like im gonna use it for a while. I went camping with it and it was the best, lots of different pockets and compartments, no mess. I feel like its a little too big for school tho. I use it to put my clothes, makeup, skincare, laptop and pills when i sleep somewhere else and its great.
Quality backpack at a reasonable price
While the price for this backpack seems a bit high, quality is quite good. Durable and has many pockets to put dedicated things. Highly recommended.
Value for money worth buying
The is multiple compartment , the last compartment can put in 1 laptop , 1 tablet .The front and middle compartment is also spacious can put various item . Like the design but just take note of the buckle for your chest which is adjustable which is useful if your bag is heavy can use it to offset the load. Also check for any defect like thread drop off, do not put off do exchange immediately after spotted which may cause damage if you put off especially the thread on the zip area.
