5.0 out of 5 stars A Truly Sweet Product
This syrup, sweetened solely with mink fruit sweetener, is surprisingly sweet. It tastes sweeter than sugar to me. It is very thick, not allowing it to penetrate a waffle very well. But adding a few drops of water works well. I appreciate that it has no erythritol as so many products do. I will definitely reorder it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Maple syrup
Wow, this is one of the best maple syrups I’ve had lately. It’s sweetened with monk fruit, I can’t even tell it’s not sweetened with sugar. I experience no odd after taste, only great maple flavor! Price is high, for a small bottle however, its substance is thick and I didn’t need a lot to put on my waffles. I can see this lasting awhile.
5.0 out of 5 stars Tastes good
Very good flavor, texture, and appearance. Small container but I need less than I normally use with traditional maple syrup.
4.0 out of 5 stars The next best thing to the real thing, without the calories or spikes in blood sugar.
The texture and taste are more like a sugar-free syrup. It's thicker than maple syrup and much less sweet with a mild maple flavor. I'd like the maple flavor to be stronger, but this works for me. It has no bad or bitter aftertaste, nor does it leave a weird residue on the tongue. The spout works like a charm and doesn't have the problem of leakage or sticky build-up. The snap lid holds tightly and doesn't leak. I could easily carry it with me when dining away from home without concern. I would prefer a larger size; however, the compact size is very convenient and fits into a quart size freezer bag.I love all of the Choc Zero products, just not the prices; but I will continue to be a faithful consumer for now. I am happy to see new products being introduced. My only request would be for Choc Zero to be more economical and affordable for all households. Diabetics depend on products that are safe, enjoyable, and affordable. I have a child by adoption with multiple health challenges and can't have sugars or artificial sweeteners, dyes, etc. Having gluten-free, low GI keto products that are palatable has changed our lives! Thank you, Choc Zero!
5.0 out of 5 stars It taste just like regular Maple Syrup!
I use it for pancakes and as a sweetener for hot cereals. Also, for baking when recipes ask for Maple Syrup. I highly recommend.
3.0 out of 5 stars UPDATE
Since my husband often does a keto diet and since i try to avoid sugar we decided to order some sugar-free syrup but became confused when we saw ALL of the options.. At that point I thought to order them all and just compare the sugar-free maple syrups to see which one we preferred the most. Not sure what our preferences are worth since everyone's taste & preferences can be different... but I thought I'd share our views for what it's worth😁We bought 5 sugar-free brands of maple syrup: Lakanto, ChocZero, NuNaturals, Joseph's & Livlo Syrlo. Here's what we noticed:NuNaturals seemed to have a strong maple flavor with a slightly thin consistency. I found that the container needed to be mixed around or shoke up as best as possible before serving. Had a pleasant maple syrup flavor.ChocZero had a very thick consistency. As far as flavor goes, the first thing that came to my mind upon trying it was it made me think of maybe what liquid marshmallows with a maple flavor added would taste like. But it wasn't bad tasting.Livlo Syrlo tasted like a thinner version of ChocZero but sweeter with a slight aftertaste that lingered.Joseph's was another thick consistency syrup. It had a nice sweet maple flavor.. BUT according to the back label it reads that you can only deduct half of the sugar alcohols in this brand.. so is it actually low-carb, keto?Lakanto had a super thin consistency but a nice maple syrup flavor.. not overly sweet in my opinion. If you're wondering which ones we preferred.. I liked the taste of Joseph's but my concern about the carbs made me choose Lakanto as my next favorite one overall. My husband preferred Joseph's 😁 he said he didn't notice it affecting his loosing weight while on keto.. and he just loves the flavor of it. To him it's like having regular maple syrup. So that's our thoughts for what it's worth.. not sure if it helps you any but I sure hope it does😊👍UPDATE:**After trying sugar-free syrups a few times I don't like how they make me feel.. I feel very dehydrated after using them along with some digestive issues... So I've decided to take a break from using these products with sugar alcohols since it seems to be the culprit.
5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious!
This syrup is delicious, it tastes just like regular syrup to me.
5.0 out of 5 stars BEST keto maple syrup, period!!
All I'm saying..is TRY IT! It's inexpensive.. the new squeeze bottle is drip-free, and WOW, it tastes wonderful! Newer formula tastes more sugary and less mapley...but... I love it! I use it on keto pancakes, and to make honey mustards once in a while. The company makes smallish batches of the maple, so the maple flavor may change once in a while. Call it... "artisan!" Choczero does a fabulous job with the food science, especially with this! If you're a diabetic... this is a MUST replacement! If you just want to cut down on sugar and your carbohydrate intake, this will not disappoint!
