5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job, but wouldn’t recommend for more than I frequent use.
This is a nice ricer. It is convenient to be able to choose the size (fine to coarse) and it’s fairly easy to use. I’m sold on that I can make fluffy mashed potatoes instead of gooey and gnocchi is so much better now.Cons: the plates frequently stick to the plunger so I had to remove it and reinsert every potato which wasn’t a big deal but got kind of annoying. It would be nice if there was a way to kind of “lock” them in. Also, the handles seem a little flimsy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Ricer
A bit flimsy and uncomfortable on your hands while using. It could use a silicone grip
4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality, harder to use than expected
The product itself is excellent quality. I got this to make tomato sauce and jam. This is a harder product to use than I expected, but I still have not found a really good alternative, maybe tomato sauce and jam are just inherently messy and alot of work! This tool for me ends up squirting food all over me and the kitchen. I don't think this is because this is a badly made product, though, so I still gave it 4 stars, it does do exactly what it advertises, its just a really messy process. It is at least very easy to take apart and clean. It is also very sturdy, no bending or breaking or rust in several years of use.
1.0 out of 5 stars It broke the very 1st time I used it...
Well, that was the most disappointing, best half batch of twice-baked potatoes I've ever made.Firstly, when I took the ricer appliance out, I noticed it was dirty with a sticky residue. It looked like someone had already used it & not washed it well. Not a great first impression. I soaked the appliance & discs in hot soapy sink water & still had to scrub gunk off of parts. The pictures of the largest holed disc are after cleaning & it has nevee been used. The discs are thin & do not feel durable. After readying the device, I started with a couple of my about 25 golf ball sized red potatoes, which were pressure cooked in my Instant Pot with herbs & chicken broth for extra flavor. After letting the potatoes rest, I peeled & diced them up a little smaller so they'd be even easier on the appliance.I extruded about half of the potatoes with the medium grate. Those went on to be amazing twice-baked in cast iron potatoes. When I utilized the smallest grate, the tiny, thin screw at the joint broke & popped off, causing the metal to bend. I had hoped to make some gnocchi as well, so that idea unfortunately became a bust.I took off stars for "ease of use" because while the device is not difficult, it is messy because it is poorly made. The discs lift after every press & leave about 1/8" layer of smashed potato at the top that must be scraped each time. It was tedious with lots of extra work from a poor design that cut corners wherever it could. This really is just an over-priced, junky appliance.Overall, riced potatoes are amazing & I got just enough of a taste of them made at home to decide to return this dud & buy a hopefully sturdier model for my spuds.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ricer, for vegetables or potatoes
I really have a difficulty rating this because I haven't used it yet. It feels strong and I don't think it's going to fall apart when I'm mashing harder vegetables. I'll let you know how it works when I use it.
Más o menos
Se me hace algo frágil, pero bueno si funciona
Good idea, bad implementation
The idea of having swappable disks sounds very appealing. In reality, it's a horrible experience. Every time you squeeze one potato, the disk detaches and you need to put it back into place. I regret buying this prodcut. Should have bught regular one without swapable disks.
Perfect creamy mashed potatoes
Works great
It is good
I still use it even though I have used for 2 more years
