My original clock finally gave out and purchased this replacement. Fits perfectly in the desk pen set even though the unit is over 40 years old.Clock keeps accurate time, was inexpensive and looks like the original Danbury unit

This clock is exactly as advertised - right size, looks like its picture. I installed the clock 3 days ago, and it has kept perfect time up to now, so 5-stars! I was about to buy this clock from another place for $50 including shipping, and then found this one. Although there are couple of reviews that the clock wasn't accurate, mine is. So I'm happy I saved $40 and took the $10 risk to get this one.

It's hard to know exactly which size to get. This one was just shy of the exact size that we needed, but after adding a couple of felt pads to the sides it fit nice and snug. The gold looks nice enough, and it seems to be keeping time.

The replacement clock insert was just a bit small for the opening of the Waterford crystal clock. Several previous customers commented that they made adjustments to enable the clock to fit. I used the thin foam layer that the clock replacement was packed in to cover the insert and also still needed to add some rubber bands to add additional layers to build it up and take up the slack to get a good fit. The clock face is easy to read and so far the clock is accurate. I'm very glad to have my clock working again, so the minor adjustments to get it to fit well was not an issue for me.

Almost looked like the clock that came out of my Waterford clock holder. The gold was a different shade, but fit nicely in the Waterford holder. No one but me will know the difference.

My wife has an expensive Waterford clock. The motor stopped working. I purchased this clock for its motor instead of paying $40 for a Waterford replacement.You can carefully disassemble both clocks (use a tiny screw driver to push the Waterford glass out from both sides). You need to sand the top and bottom of this motor (bottom significantly) by rubbing it in a flat piece of sandpaper. Once you’ve got it sized correctly you need to snip off two tiny silver tabs/poles inside the Waterford clock base. The rest goes back easily. Beautiful replacement. I actually like these hands better (more elegant). Clock keeps perfect time.

What is old can be new again
I was given this beautiful crystal clock from a company I worked for so it is a cherished treasure. When the clock part on the original clock broke and was no longer repairable, I was very excited to see that I could get a replacement one from Bolo. It fits perfectly into the crystal space and it runs like a charm. It keeps perfect time, and I kind of like the gold colour as the original was silver. This one brightens up the clock.
