Very satisfied with this punch in clock. The software that comes with it is online and is very helpful in calculating your hours. It is still fairly manual, but it is still pretty helpful. It is easy to install and the manual is fairly easy to follow if you are willing to take some time to read it and go through it. There are quite a few videos to help you as well. Very easy to operate. Plus, the punch cards are fairly inexpensive. I would recommend for small businesses that have 5+ employees.

I bought this to replace an older one for our company that cost twice as much. This had great reviews and lives up to them!I got time cards, keys, a timecard holder, etc all in one! Red and black ink.Things that are AWESOME about this product:Plays music 5 minutes before closingPrints with red/black ink to show if late, etcYou can add SO MANY settings for the red/black inc, etc!Easy of use; changes days automaticallyI have yet to use the download for payroll, but I'm sure that will save me a lot of time and hassle.You DO have to change the time slot for punching in/out and our employees clock out so many different times I can't really automate that.Does take some time to set up properly, but the directions were helpful and easy to read.

My small company uses the HN3500 for a simple time and date stamp. The cards are then turned over to our payroll department to figure payroll so our needs are fairly basic.We used the time clock without incident for 6 months but then, for some unknown reason, it started to malfunction. At that point, I would have given it 1 star. However, I emailed the seller for a technical support number and received immediate response. Called the number and spoke with Mario who was extremely patient and walked me through the reprogramming of the entire system until we got the problem corrected. Now my time clock works like a charm again. I have determined that electronics are just electronics. They are only capable of putting out what is put into them so the most important part of any piece of equipment is the technical support that comes with it. For this reason, I am giving this time clock 5 stars because the technical support that came with it is definitely deserving. The time clock is not so bad either!

I use this for my business and I like how you can fit it anywhere. I have this drilled onto the wall and it allows employees to know when to clock out for lunch. It has an alarm reminder.Lost one stars due to the fact it was difficult trying to set it up with the hours and dates.

I haven't dug into everything this thing does but paid for itself with being able to accurately track workers. Set up and running in 5 minutes and there are lots of extra features to dig into.

First of all, the unit does not automatically keep track of sign-ins and outs during the day. For instance, if you punch out on a break you have to manually press the "in/out" button on top of the machine to let it know that you are signing back out/in on the same day. What happens if you forget to push the button each time you use the machine? It prints the new in/out time over the top of the old in/out time. Furthermore, the app that is used to "automatically" calculate time is COMPLETE garbage. It does not capture the information you want it to. The time cards are setup to have multiple weeks on them so instead of just capturing the week you want it to, it captures all of the weeks on the time card (even the current week) and does not translate that information properly into the app. So what happens is you end up having to MANUALLY put in the employees times using a scrolling-style menu within the app that is VERY slow to navigate. It's a complete waste of time and I'll be returning this unit.

The media could not be loaded. We are a small non-profit who purchased this in April of 2022. It is not heavily used as there are only two part-time employees who use it - one 4 days a week, one 1 day a week. Time clocked worked well from April of 2022 until May or beginning of June 2024. At that time, the feeder stopped feeding the cards every time. It would not pull the card in and then after you've tried 4 or 5 times it would pull the card in.After a week or two it stopped feeding the cards at all. I reached out to customer service in June of 2024 for the first time and they said that I needed to open it up and make sure there's no paper jammed in the roller area. We limped through the rest of June, mainly writing the time onto time cards manually.Today I was fed up and reached out to customer service again. The agent was nice and walked me through a factory reset and when done I got excited because I was able to get it to time punch three times in a row. Then it stopped feeding the card again. The representative told me that unfortunately we were just out of the warranty period (which is two years) so we would have to purchase a new clock.I would have been ok if they had offered us some sort of discount in order to buy a new clock, but she told me she could tell me where to purchase the item but could offer us no discounts. Yeah, we're a small non-profit that operates on a negative budget. Buying a clock was not in our budget, especially one that would only last 2 years. Now I need to throw this one away and research a different clock brand that will last longer. I don't recommend buying this time clock unless you want to purchase it multiple times.
Lasted 3 months
Started to have issues within 3 months. Replaced ribon, fades within a day. Our previous one lasted 2 years plus.
Not stamping in the correct place
Customer service hasn’t been helpful at all! Ordered this for my business to track employees breaks and hasn’t worked despite 4 people that are tech savvy trying to fix the problem with steps from their videos and customer service just keeps repeating the same steps. Hope they will send me a not fault unit
A Non-Calculating Time Clock
It is a non automatic payroll calculating machine, that's the only issue for me. The Seller has to mention it in the description . Only what it does, prints in & out Time , (Better than the handwriting sure) But , we need time saving and exact calculation ,This machine only with the manual transfer data to a free cloud account which takes time & required double check in case no errors .. So , Im returning it, as it is helpless .
