I bought this little ramp because I have a mobility scooter and the threshold at my garage is just high enough that I have to have a running start to power over. This ramp makes it smooth and easy and saves wear and tear on the scooter. Im in an apartment so anything I do can't be permanent. This is perfect, weighs enough to stay in place and be durable yet easy to pick up and move.

My wife is temporarily 'off her feet' so we got a wheelchair on loan. However.... Our entrance doorway has a rise of t-2 inches that proved to be the dickens to get the wheelchair over the first time we took her out for an appointment. We checked some local mobility and hardware stores for solutions, with no luck. Searching online showed there are a ZILLION choices....We knew we didn't want a metal threshold ramp - that would scratch the hardwood floor near the door. And plastic might have that same drawback, and/or be likely to crack over time. Hence - rubber. And this one turned out to be exactly the ticket! It's heavy rubber, very solidly cast. So no worries about it staying put once placed against the threshold. (And no need to screw it in place, which we also didn't want.) It has a good non-slide tread on top. And, it's a perfect fit to our threshold. So handling the wheelchair over it is a piece of cake. No more having to manhandle the wheelchair to persuade it to go out! :-)(Note - since we haven't had it long, I didn't rate it for "Durability". But I have no doubt it will last, given the way it looks and feels.) Otherwise, 5 stars all the way.

This has made my life much easier! I had the hardest time wheeling a reclining chair for an invalid, over the door jamb. This has made the process a piece of cake and now I am always ready to wheel my dad out onto the porch for some fresh air. It is heavy and sturdy and fit perfectly. What was once a back breaking job is now a piece of cake!

Excellent! Purchased and installed for about 6 weeks as of this writing. Bought to help family member transition smoothly over exterior threshold in their wheelchair.So far, it is withstanding high traffic use. Family member has increased independence and freedom because their wheelchair or mobility device now crosses the threshold easily.We had to custom cut along one end in order to fit snuggly next to a corner. This was done easily and it has stayed in place with the appropriate adhesive.Would definitely purchase again.

I chose the 1" but l needed higher. Returned to find 3" height. Yes it had strong smell, but l think leaving it outside a couple hours would diminish the smell. Built well and sturdy.

Works well, another 1/2" would've made it great
Threshold ramp worked very well. Made it much easier for walkers,wheelchairs.
Used it to create a run up to a door sill that was about 1 inch above the ground. Made it much easier for walkers and wheel chairs to get over this door sill. Worked very well. Ramp is heavy enough to stay in place.
