It was cumbersome to carry around the original remote. This one is always within reach when driving which is so much more convenient. Installation/learning process to pair it to the gate opener was simple just as directed in the owners manual. The gate opener feels very responsive to this remote even more than the originals but that may be subjective. I would definitely buy this I think it’s a must have if you drive through your gate often.

This remote worked perfect for our gate, its unfortunate that it does not operate at the same frequency as the garage door, but we are living with it, its simply a great system for the money.

The media could not be loaded. The only reason I gave this four stars is because the overall size is small and my fingers are large.Other than that it works perfect. You can control two gates with it which are the arrow buttons at the bottom. I painted the left button solid white so everyone would know that's the button to push after you put your code in. Otherwise it has a left arrow on it.I bought an installed two of these. You can pretty much install them anywhere you can screw the back plate to. They are designed to install on something flat but I installed them on a pole and used washers to help steady them.They cost more than the keychain remotes but there's more to them so the value seems worth it.Programming was really easy, And to use it you simply enter the code you programmed and then hit the bottom button the left or right and it connects every time.They seem pretty durable, they're heavier than I thought they were. The whole case is metal and there's a plastic cover that goes over the keypad. They also have a rubber gasket around the back to keep the water out and it uses two CR 2032 batteries that it came with.

Bought 2 for my gate opener. Arrived in a couple of days. Programming instructions state they are for, “Most CO-Z gate openers”. I started to program for my gate opener. Instructions Step 1 says, “Open case and press the switch labeled “AN” on the circuit board. I opened the case and studied top and bottom of the circuit board closely and THERE IS NOTHING LABELED “AN” on the circuit board, anywhere!Checked both sets of instructions and they are identical. I notice a QR code at the bottom of the page that says “for a pdf of the instructions for your model, scan the QR code to the right”. So I scan their QR code, which takes me to an exact copy of both sets of paper instructions they sent with the “remotes”!Without a way to program these things, they are worthless to me, and to you too. The mfgr has foolishly turned their product into TRASH!!!Buy these at your OWN RISK!
