5.0 out of 5 stars Great for floor and backsplash, lots of compliments!
Used these for my closet floor and the backsplash under new dining room cabinets. Everyone compliments the backsplash, thinks it’s real. They are nice and thick and easy to lay, extremely easy to score and cut. They did pull off extremely easily off the drywall so I lifted them back up the next day and put a little bit of Elmer’s glue around the edges of each tile. Worked perfectly. They’re super stuck now. Used Elmer’s on the closet floor for safe thinking too. I kind of feel it’s too busy of a pattern on my walk in closet floor that’s 6x9, but whatever. It looks nice and feels soft and was super affordable. Nice to do alone in one day and not have to rely on coordinating with my spouse to finally get around to helping me lay messy ceramic tiles. Very happy. Friends have said they want to use them too.
4.0 out of 5 stars Flooring as a Back Splash, Why Not?
I bought this product to use as a back splash in my kitchen. The manufacturer information said that hanging it on a wall was an acceptable use so I bought it!Pros:- The tiles are pretty easy to cut using a speed square (or other straight line) and a razor blade. I went through quite a few blades so stock up before you start.- It looks great on the wall! It is easy to clean and you would never know it wasn't meant as a wall covering.Cons:- Overall, the adhesive was fine but some of the tiles fell off of the wall after a few hours. I'm not sure if some were faulty because most of them stuck very firmly. Just something to be aware of.- The pattern isn't super easy to match up. Instead of each tile being centered and balanced, the pattern is skew. This made it more difficult to line things up exactly. Even without the pattern being perfect, it looks good. Take the time to check this out and get used to it before you start sticking.I would definitely recommend this product as a back splash or floor covering. It is very cute and seems like it will be durable. Happy sticking!
5.0 out of 5 stars Quick and inexpensive update for bathroom.
I used the tiles in a guest bathroom. Love the pattern, it can be a little difficult to line the pattern up when you have a lot of cuts. It is not horribly noticeable though when all is said and done. Applied over an old existing linoleum floor, just sanded the gloss off of the old and cleaned well with soap and water. Had no issues with them not sticking. The tiles don't have much give,so when I was trying to fit and trim them into smaller spaces some of them snapped. I used a different tile in another bathroom that was more bendy and had an easier time trimming and laying those in small awkward spots. Scissors did cut around curves easily, better than a razor knife at least for me. Color was true to screen image. Bought 4 boxes, none were broken or damaged. Overall was a good purchase, love my new floor but my knees will never forgive me.
5.0 out of 5 stars Looks great!
I redid the kitchen two months ago and used these tiles on the floor. Very easy to apply and trim to fit. The pattern was a little challenging, but I found that choosing the right tile and rotating it for the best match worked out overall. I laid it right over the existing linoleum after cleaning it really well. None of the tiles has come loose and I am very pleased with how the kitchen looks!
3.0 out of 5 stars Looks good but needs extra work to install
I like how my laundry room turned out. However, I needed to use extra adhesive to make the “peel and stick permanent tiles” stick. Without extra adhesive they start coming up. I used it in a higher traffic area so it has to stay down. Pattern repeat was difficult to figure out with multiple boxes to be used. It’s not perfect but is a good update to my laundry room.
5.0 out of 5 stars Buy vinyl grout!! Makes all the difference
1 years later…. And still So in love!! Pink, dated floor is gone! I decided to buy quarter inch spacers and vinyl grout (approx $20 extra) to make the floor look more like real tile and WOW! It really made all the difference. I noticed most of the complains were that the pattern did not match up 100% across-the-board so I decided to space and grout the tiles. Any small variation from one tile to the next was minimized by the quarter inch grout line. Its BEAUTIFUL and was so easy!
1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible to remove
The tiles for the most part were easy to apply. I had these in my apartment for 1 year and there were a few corners that did chip in that time frame. When it was time to remove them they left behind a very sticky residue on my original tiles. It was a sticky mess that took hours to remove and clean. I had to use a vinegar and rubbing alcohol mixture to remove the glue. This left tiny pieces of sticky residue everywhere including on my skin, which was very hard to get off. I do not recommend these tiles because the removal process was a nightmare!
4.0 out of 5 stars Transformed ugly tile floor
This turned out very nice although I have it a 4 star because the patterns noticeably didn’t align sometimes. The bathroom tile was hideous and for less than $50 this offered a much better looking alternative. I read the reviews and concern about adhering it, so I purchased spray gorilla glue, laid it faced down on a cardboard and sprayed before placing each floor pop. No issues with it sticking using that method.
These look great, hold up well and easy to install
Make for a beautiful bathroom floor. I did my small main floor half bath in these tiles and they just add so much aesthetically to the space. I have another style of these in my upstairs bathroom also and they are very watered resistant and durable. However, these do not want to stay stuck to the ceramic tiles underneath. The original tiles are very slightly uneven and are a different size than the stick on tiles, so I was by no means working with a perfect base. E6000 on a few edges though and they stay securely stuck down. Finished with caulking around the edges for a clean finished look and they are great. Even with some workarounds, these were far more affordable than beautifully ornate tiles and much less work than ripping up the existing tiles and replacing them.In the pictures you can see how overall the floor looks nice but close up if you are really inspecting them the pattens don’t line up perfectly. It’s barely noticeable though unless you are getting close and staring at the details of the floor. These overall look great and perform very well.
Beaucoup de style ! Bon produit !
Leichte Handhabung.
Nice design, easy to fit
I used these tiles on my downstairs toilet that badly needed updating, we only just moved into our house and had renovated the rest of the house and didn’t want to spend a lot of time and money on this toilet. We painted the tiles first and then put down the floor, I put the tiles straight onto the concrete floor.I painted on PVA first as a primer to stop moisture as advised and left that to dry overnight. The next day I put down the tiles the first few I didn’t use and adhesive and because the concrete wasn’t that even they didn’t stick well. I then used some no more nails multi purpose adhesive which helped.I used a big pair of scissors to cut the tiles which is much easier than a stanley knife.I’m very happy with the finished look for a cheap makeover it’s not bad!
