5.0 out of 5 stars Worked for us
We used this pump to get the oil in our car out. It was super easy to use and we had no trouble quickly pumping the old oil out. We have no complaints and think it was a good value for the money.Pros:Ease of Use: We appreciated the simplicity of the manual pump operation, making it easy to perform oil changes without professional help.Efficiency: The extractor effectively removes oil and other fluids, reducing the mess associated with traditional draining methods.Versatility: It works well with a variety of vehicles and fluid types, making it a useful tool for DIY mechanics and boat owners.Quality Construction: the materials and build quality are robust and durable.Cons:Manual Effort: As it is a manual pump, it requires physical effort to create the vacuum, which some might find tiring for larger jobs.Suction Speed: While generally effective, the suction speed can be slower than expected, especially with thicker fluids.Hose Length: It might be possible that the hose could be longer to reach deeper or more awkwardly positioned oil pans.Overall Satisfaction:the EWK 6L Vacuum Oil Extractor Pump receives positive feedback from us for its ease of use, efficiency, and versatility. The minor drawbacks related to manual effort and suction speed do not seem to significantly detract from the overall experience.
5.0 out of 5 stars Quality product
This is an excellent oil extractor pump. Easy to use and well constructed. I use it on my jet ski, lawnmower, and ATV. Well worth the money and will last for years.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great on my back
I'm glad I got this as I have several European cars that have the filter on top, so now I don't have to jack up car and get under. Thus unit is well built and worked great I used it yesterday. Nice size, I was able to sit on my mobility scooter and change the oil in my garage with no oil getting on the floor. Now just a few tips, invest $3 at the dollar store and get disposable gloves and shop rags, and when you start you only need to pump a few times as this is a combination suction and gravity to remove the oil let it do its thing you can do something else while draining the oil. It took about 30 minutes to drain my car, my car holds 8.5quarts so I stopped at 5 quarts to empty then resumed I got back a little over 8qts with what was in the filter I figure 8.2qts so I'm happy. Also when you finish don't try to get the hose bone dry place it in a heavy plastic bag til next time this will keep it from getting brittle. I did the math and with cost of this unit, full synthetic oil, filter, filter wrench I still saved over $50 from dealer cost. And each oil change in the future will save me $120 loving it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great
Super simple to operate and easy to empty when done.
4.0 out of 5 stars Does work good but somewhat Slow
Works good to extract oil from my lawn mower, edger, thatcher and walk behind weed eater. It is a slower process than I thought, but keeps me from having to lift them to tilt and keeps the gas from leaking also. I completed all oil extraction and fill on my 5 machines in about an about 1 to 1.5 hr for the first time. Next time should be easier process as I know what to expect. Run other machine to warm up the oil as one is being extracted will help.Assembly was easy, parts fit nice and tight and the suction was strong. Very satisfied with the first use of this product.
5.0 out of 5 stars So worth the money. Makes an oil change very easy.
I have a Land Rover Discovery Sport. An oil change costs around $400 at the dealership. And theres no chance I'd take it to a quick lube type of place. I did the last oil change the old fashion way. Its not super fun to lift such a heavy car on to jack stands, drop the engine cover, and pull the oil plug. Its a dirty, messy, tedious process. So this time, I decided to save myself a lot of trouble, and just use an oil vac. I've never used one before. There doesnt seem to be very many options. I found this, hoping to not have to pay for a mightyvac, as it was quite a bit cheaper. It worked very well. I was skeptical that I could suck up all the oil through the dipstick. I watched a few videos. Some cars actually have a port under their oil fill cap; but mine does not. So I used the nice long sturdy tube that this comes with. It got all the way to the bottom of the oil pan, with probably 4 or 5 inches remaining. My car holds 7.5 quarts. I wrongly assumed that 6 liters is probably more or less a large enough volume to hold it all. Turns out 7.5 quarts = 7.1 liters. So I did have to stop and empty the vac as I got towards the end. I was able to suck everything out though. I know the exact amount of oil, because I did the last oil change. The amount I sucked out was exactly what I expected. My car has its oil filter on top of the engine. So open the hood, pull the dipstick, and start sucking out the oil. While the vac is doing its work, I pop open the oil filter housing and replace my filter. Shortly thereafter the oil is out, and I can start putting in the fresh stuff.I'm happy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
Perfect for changing oil in a jet ski. Must have tool if you do these types of things.
Easy Oil Change Pump
This is a great product. It makes changing oil very easy and easy to send off used oil for recycling. First time I must have pushed the drain suction hose too far in and inside the tank it curled up a bit so I only got 2 liters out. I pulled the hose further back and it was able to pull all 4+ liters out. A first time error. Now I know where to slide the tube ball marker so as to not do this again. Better to DIY your own Oil Changes. There is no reason to pay someone to do a simple oil change ever again.
Quick and easy
Excellent product this is my second one I own very easy to use quick oil changes without the mess
Works well
This device worked well to suck out the extra oil put in the car's engine through the dipstick tube.
