Definitely better than the previous and very much noticeable. Not only does it look fantastic, but it also performs wonders.It can fill the tank pretty fast just like it claimsThe installation was super easy, take note that the little hose at the top that fills the bowl is strong which means it could be a tight fit and you wouldn’t want to mess up the first time when you cut the lengthThe water control option for the bowl is really nice. Your toilet is fairly quiet compared to before but if you have this option for the water fill bowl turned to max, it will be loud as ****!!! I have mine turned just a tad bit tj kiet water fill into the bowl but not enough to be heard outside the room. That’s how loud it can be but if you turn it off then the normal sound your hear from a toilet refilling is all you hear and it sounds more muffled than silent but it is in fact quieter.Overall it’s worth the price and it looks nice. Not the best in any category but certainly the best in overall aspect. If you want style, quality, and a budget, look no further…

I replaced a Fluidmaster Model 300 Fill Valve with this product. Instructions were included in the box and they were extremely easy to follow. Installation required no tools except for a pair of scissors to shorten the overflow tube slightly. The fill valve provides quick and quiet filling on the toilet tank. Water level adjustments are straight forward and explained well in the instructions. I highly recommend this as a solution to repair/replace the fill valve in a toilet.

Installed to replace the infamous Unfixable Whistling Korky valve. Better quality, fit, seal, and doesn't whistle. But it, you'll be hassle free for years!

I replaced an OEM part on a Kohler tank. The Fluidmaster installs quickly and easily and the tank refills quickly and quietly. The bowl fill adjustment works well; it's a good idea.I knocked off 1 star because of the design: The top valve housing is a bit too thick, and if the tank top to overflow tube distance is too small, you cannot get the required 3 inches from the top of the overflow tube. This is because the thick valve housing would be over the tank top and the tank cover would be resting on it. Therefore, even with the maximum fill setting, the tank is a bit less full than one would want. However, it is good enough.It wasn't a problem with the OEM flush valve because the rod and flotation mechanism allowed for a much smaller valve housing and the flotation rod could be bent and adjusted for an higher fill level.

I was a bit wary about purchasing another Fluidmaster toilet valve, because I've bought 2 of Fluidmaster's "basic" models over the past few years which failed for some reason after about 3 years of use. But supposedly this valve is an upgraded model, so we'll see how well it works over time. It was easy to install, although I had to empty my tank twice, and install it twice because I wasn't careful about adjusting the height of the tube. But so far, it works well, so I gave it a 5 rating.

Can't believe it is such a good price. I spent a little more time to tweak it by adjusting it for the exact water level I want. YouTube videos do a great job of instructing. The instructions that came with it are very good also. I could actually read them. Most instructions nowadays are so small I have to use a magnifier to see them.
5.0 out of 5 stars 2 Kohler fill valves replaced in 30 minutes
I don't recall ever doing this before but it didn't matter as instructions are clear. I just installed them so no comment on longevity or long term performance.It seems to work just fine with the Kohler canister or barrel type flush valves and since only my fill valve needed replacing that's all I did. The original Kohler flush valve is still in the tank and works with this unit.A couple of things I noted.1) the fill tube is not connected to the fill valve in the box so you have to do that which makes 1 part of the instructions unclear. Just attach the tube to the fill valve before you go putting it into your tank.2) I did not need or use the tube connector clips for my toilet, in fact there is no way to use it with the canister flush type so they are in the trash.3) it is louder than the Kohler fill valve but loudness depends on how much water you want/need in the bowl. It is very quiet when you set it to low water, but opening the bowl fill dial makes it noisy. Much noisier than the Kohler for the same bowl fill amount, but this is 1/4 of their price and for the 3 seconds it's fine. I don't flush at night anyway so as to not wake anyone.4) the fill tube is too long and I cut about 1.5" off both tubes for both toilets and it's fine5) only real negative mark is that when you turn your water back on, it flushes out a bunch of black muck from inside the flush valve and into your tank. I don't know what it is but it gets into the toilet bowl obviously after flushing. It didn't stain but it took several flushes and using my hand to swish the water around in the tank to get it all out. I didn't want that sitting at the bottom of the tank because maybe it would end up staining something or causing me a problem down the line. This should be blown out from the factory but it wasn't on either.The knobs to adjust the water tank level and the water bowl level are clearly marked so you don't have to guess and trial and error which way to go. No screwdriver needed like with the Kohler one I had.

Very easy installation and adjustment. I only needed a pair of pliers to loosen and then tighten the bottom nut. Adjusted to same length as the failed valve and then a easy float adjustment. Done.

Funciona excelente con alta presión de agua
The media could not be loaded. Cuento con hidroneumático (30-50 psi) en mi hogar, tuve que cambiar mis antiguas válvulas con flotador porque provocaban vibraciones excesivas en las tuberías, estas vibraciones sólo desaparecían cuando cerraba casi por completo la válvula de control angular, lo cual no era conveniente porque tardaba hasta 15 minutos en llenarse el tanque.Encontré esta válvula después de buscar en foros de plomería, pedí esta versión de 2 válvulas, vienen en una caja de cartón perfectamente resguardadas.La válvula es de plástico (PP y POM) de gran calidad, aunque puede parecer frágil al tacto, es muy resistente una vez instalada. La instalación es bastante sencilla (solo ocupé una llave inglesa y el vídeo de instalación en la descripción de este producto).Adjunté un video de su funcionamiento luego de bajar la palanca completamente, llenó el tanque de mi inodoro (4.5 L) en menos de medio minuto y no hubo golpe de ariete (vibración de tubos).Aclaro lo siguiente, no es tan silenciosa como promociona la página de Fluidmaster (pero sí más silenciosa que una válvula de llenado con flotador Fleximatic, como el de la foto), sin embargo, sí llena el tanque bastante rápido y trabaja excelente con alta presión de agua (hasta 125 psi).El producto no es caro en comparación con lo que ofrece (llenado rápido, eficiente con alta presión de agua, silencioso si lo comparas con válvulas de flotador), además tiene garantía de 7 años. LO RECOMIENDO.
