Finally found the licorice treat I was looking for. Came packaged so well. Fresh with a deep, rich, natural flavor in a soft chew at a very reasonable price. This is the wonderful licorice flavor my Grandpa shared with me so many years ago. It is said you either love licorice or you hate it. Well I love it and so happy I found this brand. All natural no chemical after taste just happy mouth. 7 good size resealable packs. If you love the old-time licorice with full flavor and not too sweet. (only 100 calories for 5 good size pieces and my craving was satisfied with 2) try it. You'll be glad you did.

I love this licorice. It has about twice the amount of real licorice root extract than most black licorice on the market (some has no licorice at all), so it has a fairly intense licorice flavor. It's also a pretty healthful snack, eaten in moderation, which contains antioxidants, fights bacteria and helps aid digestion. Four pieces have about 16 carbs and they're very filling, so it makes for a snack that I, as diabetic, can eat without significantly raising my blood sugar levels. I find they also settle my stomach if I eat one or two. They are best eaten slowly, savoring the flavor and letting them melt in your mouth. They are soft and easy to chew. The only 'complaint' I have is that they are a little sticky, so I always have to wipe or rinse my fingers after eating them.Good, healthy snack for a fairly decent price. If you love the authentic flavor of real licorice root, you'll love these.

This is an excellent product; the licorice is soft, flavorful, and marginally addictive. It is my constant companion next to my recliner. I buy this by the box rather than the package because it is so head and hands above other licorice that I have had. If you haven't had soft, juicy Australian black licorice, run - don't walk - to the order panel and buy some now. It sticks to your fingers and is messy, which gives you a perfectly justifiable reason to lick your fingers. Why 4 stars instead of 5? For the most minor flaw - packaging; I've had trouble in the past opening and resealing the package, which is frustrating. In fact, I contacted them about it. The packages in the latest box I received, however, have a better and more easily opened/reclosed seal! They may actually have taken customer feedback and acted on it! I'll hold off - until I've ordered a few more times - believing such a miracle, but if so, there needs to be a six star rating. This licorice is truly a high point of my day - and I am PICKY! Try it - you'll love it.

This is my new favorite black licorice. I'm always on the look for licorice that limits use of corn syrup. I really like this licorice - and it stays soft.

This whole box of licorice will last til next Christmas. Because this product contains real licorice, it needs to be eaten in moderation. Licorice root contains glycyrrhizin so although it has health benefits eaten in moderation, it’s important not to over-indulge.
