This stein does a really good job at keeping things cold, it looks nice, dishwashes well, and feels hefty. I've not tried it with hot drinks, but it works great with cold stuff. The main problem with the design is that it does not include a lid, and any similar stein comes with a flip-up lid that does not seal, like a traditional stein.The fix is to get a Tervis plastic lid for their 16oz tumblers - they fit perfectly and work great. Once you add on the extra lid, it's perfect!
