5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Product!
It took me a long time to settle on this food jar, but I am glad that I ultimately chose it. I needed a food jar to keep my fruit or yogurt cold for the day.I pre-cool the food jar with ice, then remove the ice and add my yogurt or fruit in around 5:30/6:00 am. The best example of its efficiency is the fact that the fruit stays COLD even as I open the jar several times throughout the day to eat a few pieces of fruit at a time. One day when I got home at 6:30 pm, the fruit was still cold and delicious! The jar gets bonus points for the compartment in the cover which I use to store the granola that I sprinkle over my yogurt.I haven't tried the food jar with hot food, but I imagine that it is just as proficient with that end of the temperature spectrum. This is a solid buy - money wellllllll spent!
5.0 out of 5 stars Hot lunch!
Kids love it, good to get warm lunches. Leak proof and sturdy build. Previous lunch boxes with insulated bag hardly kept food warm and boxes were prone to leak.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for golfing in cold winter!
I play golf in cold weather and needed a container that will keep hot soup for hours. It does the job amazingly. When I opened the container, the soup was steamy hot. I enjoyed hot soup in cold weather and it kept me warm through my round. It is also nice looking and easy to clean. I am very happy with the product.

5.0 out of 5 stars keeps food hot
Stanley is a solid brand name for quality. Needed this to pack hot soups/stews, mac and cheese, etc for the winter. Im on an intermittent fasting diet and eat between 8 am and 4 pm. Often needing to bring my own food to events I'm participating in, because of the time window. The thermos is perfect, keeps food hot, portion size is perfect, plus if I want a cold salad, it will keep the salad cold. Plus there is an additional top compartment for dressing, bread cubes, oyster crackers, etc. There is a fork/spoon attached at the side. Works well for salads and stews, but not so good for very liquid soups like tomato. Stanley is my go to.
5.0 out of 5 stars What a fantastic investment!
The Stanley Classic Legendary Vacuum Insulated Food Jar is a game-changer for anyone who enjoys homemade meals on the go. I’ve been using this food jar for a few months now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite travel companions.Design and Build Quality: Right out of the box, the first thing that stands out is its sturdy, rugged design. Made from 90% recycled stainless steel, it feels incredibly durable and ready to withstand any adventure. The classic Stanley aesthetic is appealing, with a timeless look that’s both functional and stylish. The wide mouth opening makes it easy to fill, scoop, and clean, which is a huge bonus.Insulation Performance: The vacuum insulation truly delivers. I’ve packed everything from soups to stews, and they have consistently stayed hot for hours—sometimes up to 12 hours! I’ve even put cold salads in it, and they remain chilled for just as long. This performance is ideal for long workdays, picnics, or camping trips, ensuring my meals are always at the perfect temperature.Capacity: The jar comes in various sizes, and I opted for the 17-ounce version, which strikes a great balance between being compact and spacious enough for a hearty portion. It’s perfect for a single serving or sharing a little with a friend.Ease of Use: The wide mouth makes it easy to load up with food, and I appreciate that it’s dishwasher safe, which simplifies the cleaning process. The screw-on lid creates a tight seal, preventing any leaks, which is crucial when tossing it in a bag.Portability: While it’s slightly heavier than other food containers, the sturdiness reassures me that it can take a beating without compromising its integrity. The base is also designed to be non-slip, which is a thoughtful touch.Final Thoughts: The Stanley Classic Legendary Vacuum Insulated Food Jar is a fantastic investment for anyone who enjoys taking meals on the go. Its exceptional insulation, durability, and practical design make it a top choice for both everyday use and outdoor adventures. Whether you’re headed to work, school, or a weekend hike, this food jar has you covered. Highly recommended for those who value quality and functionality in their food storage solutions!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product
Keeps soup for lunch hot. Robust and well built.
Excelente jarra
La he probado con sopas y caldos y mantiene por varías horas caliente el contenido
It does keep the food hot FOR 12 HOURS
I tested it like this:At 6:10pm I add hot water from the tap into the food jar, as this simple process warms up the jar, then lightly cover it with the lid (don't have to twist it on), while I start heating up my soup. At 6:30pm, I pour out the hot water and fill the jar with soup, close the lid, do a quick upside down test to assure no leaks, and pack it into my bag.The spork the food jar comes with is small and kinda flat, honestly, I haven't used it at all. Instead, I take a spoon from my cupboard.First lunch break is at 11:30pm. The soup is hot, like just off the stove hot. Cool it down before eating spoonfuls.I save half of the soup for my next break at 2:30am, by this time, it's still hot but a nice, not burning hot.Another time, I waited until my second break to eat from the food jar, so it was closed from 6:30pm to 2:30am, and it was hot like it had just been packed. I ate half and saved the rest of it for around 6:20am, while waiting for the bus outside in the cold, the soup was still nice and warm.Once I get home, I soak the jar with warm soapy water for a couple hours before washing it, as it helps to clean out the smells and any dried on bits of food. Do not forget the food flask, closed up in your bag, for hours or until the next day, I know someone who does this, it's gross, and especially when there's still a lot of food left in it. The jar will release a rotten smell, or be no longer safe to open. As with most vacuum sealed food jars, do what the instructions say.If you need a food jar that will keep food good and hot for more than 6/7 hours, get the 18oz over the slightly smaller size. The 18oz will hold an entire 540ml can of Chunky soup just up to the fill line; of course, watch it doesn't go passed that, otherwise the jar will leak.
Keeps food hot
I have been wanting to get a proper food jar to keep my lunch (if it's soup) or breakfast (if it's porridge) hot as I am always pushed for time in the morning so do this the night before. I am very pleased with the results and it means that I don't have to spend lots of money in Pret or Eat on food that I don't really want!Slightly more expensive than other small flasks or food jars, but it does actually work, so that is worth the money in my view. I might even get another one :)
Praktisch
Genau so ein Produkt wollte ich haben.Etwas mehr Volumen wäre toll, aber für eine kleine warme Mahlzeit reicht es aus
