5.0 out of 5 stars Great Bag!
I used this on a 5 day cruise and loved it. It’s lightweight , fits comfortably, folds up so it doesn’t take up too much luggage space, and has tons of pockets & places to put things. I was able to fit 3 beach towels, change of clothes for 3 people, a sun hat, pouch with sunscreen, and several other miscellaneous items with plenty of room to spare. It seems well made and I feel as long as it isn’t overstuffed it should hold up.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect lightweight travel bag
I bought two. I ordered the first one for the lightweight feature needed for a disabled family member. You can fit so much stuff. Lots of pockets and compartments. Zippers are smooth and dependable. Fits well on the handles of a transport wheelchair. Works great as a carry on or personal item for a flight. Doesn't have padding anywhere to add bulk. It is very thin yet has performed without any tears for a year. Value for the money is exceptional.
5.0 out of 5 stars For the price, this is a great purchase for travel, day bag, or teaching bag
It's not rugged or anything and is more like a day pack, I would not hike with it but do travel with it for carry on/short trips, but it's unbeatable for the price, with good zippers, a nice design, and an affordable price. It's definitely a cheaper backpack but it got me around Southeast Asia for a few months, traveling with 15 lbs. of clothes and is fine. I plan to upgrade for more durable travel but use it for a work bag now (I teach and walk a mile each way to work -- I pack it full of supplies, papers, and books and it's perfect!)
4.0 out of 5 stars Versatile Backpack with only minor inconveniences
Can I put a 4.5 or 4.9 stars? The only reason I did not put 5 stars is to highlight there is room for some little improvements. I have had this backpack just under a month and done two airline trips so far. I have been impressed with it, as I expected to be given the other positive reviews and product description. My positive comments follow down below, after my minor notes, which are hardly critical:1. The smaller "inner" pocket inside the zippered front pocket is a "loose" pocket, as shown in my attached pic. If the bag is on my back, that's great. But as soon as I lay it down (under the plane seat, for example), everything in that pocket slides out into the zippered pocket; this has happened to me a couple of times already. A Velcro flap or small zipper on that pocket would solve it (at the cost of a fraction of an ounce... I get that; every addition costs!) A backpack by nature is tossed about, laid flat, thrown in the car, etc.2. The text notes the upgraded waterproof pocket, which I think is a great improvement on other stuffable bags. In my month of usage, I found myself using it for other things, like a stack of tissue in case I have an allergy attack on the plane. This pocket is good-sized, but will really only hold one item, either a swimsuit OR a towel, for example. I like that it is accessed from outside the bag.3. A key fob would be handy. When I'm traveling, I don't need my car keys from home... until I get back. A key fob would allow me to snap them in and know exactly where they are when I get back. I can't put them in the loose pocket (see point #1) because they won't stay there. Now, highlighting the many features that I do like...1. That it easily stuffs into itself. I could just stuff it in, but I folded it vertically in quarters, then rolled it up and into the pocket. When I returned from my trip, I2. Even better: When I'm using the backpack, that stuff sack—inverted—becomes a zipper pocket itself... and the best place for the critical items I need secured (e.g., not 'loose') but easily accessible like lotion, wallet, car/hotel keys, earbuds, etc.3. The extra pocket (no zipper or flap) inside the main pocket is a good place for my Kindle.4. The light weight. I laid it flat in my carry-on bag while traversing the airport, then at the gate took it out and put it on my back. Now I had all of my plane essentials without having to rifle through my carry-on bag when I got to my seat. Finally, the bag has a handful (6-10) little—and I mean *little*—loops on the outside. I have absolutely no idea what they're for, other than cosmetic purposes. But since they only cost hundredths of an ounce, it's not a big deal.
5.0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal for travel
We bought this for use on vacations during we plan day trips, for which it is perfect. Folds down into its own pouch for packing, incredibly lightweight, excellent quality construction, and big enough when unfolded to swallow a day's worth of supplies and carry two insulated water bottles in the side pouch. (Tip: if bottles have any kind of loop at the top, thread the backpack's bottle retaining straps through that loop before clicking them closed to help prevent bottle drops.) It's of course not as comfortable for long hikes as a backpack with a frame, but it's still an excellent choice. We've used it for hikes through a national rainforest park and urban walking tours.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great bag for day hiking
This bag has held up for years. I use it every time I day hike or even to pack clothes for camping. It holds a lot of items and is comfortable to wear. The only thing I wish is that the water bottle holders were larger because my taller water bottles will fall out.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good design and comfort
Really liked the quality of the materials and the design. The ability to pack it down to smaller package just is good design and function. Good value, good comfort.
5.0 out of 5 stars I used this on my 11-day solo trip/hike
I loved it! The color, light weighted. The pockets. Waterproof and there is a plastic pocket in the back for double protection i put my carkeys and phone in. I am glad i chose this. Pretty sturdy on my first use so far
As advertised. Well priced and good quality
