I have been using the dehydrator for 3 weeks now. Size is ok, doesn't take much space (smaller than a microwave oven). It's not noisy, I can hear it when I'm in the room, but not when I'm in the next room. Pretty easy to operate, with time and temperature setting clearly labeled and preset functions. The recipe catalog was very helpful as a starting point, but I had to calibrate time and temperature depending on what I'm dehydrating. Being my first dehydrator, I'm glad with the purchase.

I hardly EVER leave reviews, but this dehydrator is amazing. The recipes in the book are delicious, the quick guides with time, temps and basic instructions are sooo helpful. Nothing I have dehydrated sticks to the trays provided, they just rinse clean. My kids eat the cinnamon apple chips like it’s candy. I love this thing! We are all snacking WAY healthier on dried fruit and simple homemade jerkies.

This is my first food dehydrator. I researched different brands/styles and didn't want anything with a lot of plastic. The dehydrator fits the bill with metal exterior and food trays. It is small - five trays - but is perfect for my needs. I keep jerky around for a quick protein snack, but the price of jerky is too high for the small quantity the consumer gets and most of the commercial jerky products contain sugar. I have been making my own beef jerky without all of the chemicals and sugar. Another favorite is bacon jerky, I have made several batches of that and it is fantastic. Everything I've made in it turns out perfect. The dehydrator is very quiet and easy to clean. The trays are dishwasher safe, but I prefer to soak and handwash them. I highly recommend this COSORI food dehydrator to anybody that needs a small, efficient dehydrator. I have found the quality of COSORI products to be excellent.

The only thing that would make it better was if it were bigger. Of course if it were bigger I couldn’t easily pick it up or move it to another station—I can. If it were bigger I couldn’t keep it on a counter unless I moved everything else—I can.This thing is great. With six trays it really is large enough to dry quite a bit of food. I’m learning that I’m obsessed with apple chips!The dehydrator comes with a booklet of information on correct air temps and approximate length of time to dry so many common foods. It is very quiet, easy to set and its auto timer allows me to use it overnight and not have to get up to check it. I’ve only had it a few weeks and used it multiple times.I love it and can’t recommend it highly enough. I only wish I had the room to operate more than one.The only thing I don’t know about yet is its durability. If it stops working too soon I’ll post an update.

Very nice dehydrator. Super size capacity, fantastic temperature control and very nice timer functions, and easy cleanup too! For cleanup, if you have ever used a regular dehydrator, you know how much of a pain that can be! This model takes all that headache away. One big consideration for this dehydrator is that you NEED to put this somewhere while it is working that gets good ventilation for the bottom of the unit, because the exhaust and heater element get the bottom pretty warm, along with whatever it is sitting on. So if you set it on something to do a batch of dehydrating, better make sure that whatever surface the dehydrator is sitting on is good to get warm--even hot. I use this unit either on a stove top or on a sheet pan turned upside down for a heatsink, for my own piece of mind. Other than that, I recommend this unit if you are at all into dehydrating stuff. Way closer to professional grade than most anything you can buy over the counter. A little on the higher side for price, but you get what you pay for. Also for this unit, the recommendations pop up for the extra racks and you should buy them and you will be glad you buy the extras, because you will be wasting space if you don't use every slot! Overall, very happy with this machine and the results!

Bought to dehydrated veggies and it works great. Would recommend buying silicone mesh mats to go on the trays to keep food from sticking. Plan on making jerky as well. Very quiet and it has 6 trays. Love the stainless steel. Very compact so it doesn't take up too much space.

Tried it for the first time this week to make some beef jerky. It did a great job. Everything dried evenly and it’s temperature ranges are good. Love that it’s made from metal and not plastic and that it’s big enough to do decent sized batches but still small enough to fit in my kitchen.

Looks great. Quiet during use. The unit stays cool while running. So far, I’ve dehydrated sweet potato slices for my fur baby and basil from my garden. Both turned out great. Easy to use. Upgraded to 5 stars. I decided that it isn’t fair to ding the product over delivery issues. I have dehydrated some additional foods, including Royal Gala apple slices with cinnamon, mandarin orange slices (great in tea, snacking, and dipped in chocolate), and more sweet potato slices flavored with chicken broth this time. Solid construction. Easy to use (I am a beginner). Very happy with this purchase. I purchased a heat resistant mat to be safe. I had no heat issues on my counter top even after running the unit for 10 hours, but would rather be safe than sorry. Es mejor de lo que pense comparado con el precio, es liviana pero no es frajil, las regillas son de excelente calidad, la puerta cierra sin problemas, ponerla en marcha es super facil y me gusta que viene con un recetario con muchas ideas de alimentos diferentes deshidratados para preparar, sin duda la recomiendo
