5.0 out of 5 stars The best work boots I’ve ever had!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
These boots are incredible. They are sturdy but comfortable and not hard on your feet. I actually really like wearing them and often don’t take them right off. They are quality not too mention waterproof for rain. Overall the thing that I love the most is they are stylish and no one believes the price I paid. Super dope boots, Bolo with another gem lol. Great buy!!
5.0 out of 5 stars VERY impressed for a shoe at this pricepoint
I bought 3 pairs of these hiking boots for a 5-day backpacking trip to Big Bend National Park with my teenage boys (well, 14 and 12) and a group of about 20 other scouts. At a 50$ price point per pair, these were amazing. We had hikes every day - anywhere from 4-mile round trip hikes with little elevation change, to summiting Mt Emory which is around a 8 mile round trip hike with major elevation change. We had hikes with just a day-pack with water (camelback) as well as our big Emory hike while toting 40-70lb backpacks for overnight camping (you need to carry-in all your water which is a majority of the weight). These boots were great. I got a size 12 standard width(in army green), my boys a 10 standard (brown) and 7.5 standard (black). My 14-yo has flat feet, and I initially got him the Wide version of the boot, but he said there was too much sliding in the boot, so we exchanged for the standard width and it was great for him. We all used thick wool socks while hiking. These boots were SUPER comfortable, extremely durable and worked great. While a couple of the other kids that went with us had blisters and such from their other more expensive boots, my boys and I had ZERO foot issues. We broke the boots in with a couple neighborhood walks prior to going, but the shoes by default are good to go I think. Zero materials issues while using them, great ankle support and if it matters, my 16yo daughter prior to us going was jealous of my 12yo son's pair (he got the black color) because she thought they were "super cute".As far as the soles of the boots, quite rugged grip, we were hiking on everything from flat sand next to the Rio Grande in Elena Canyon, all the way to jagged rock, gravel, mixed substrate etc on other hikes. The soles gripped everything fine, no slipping or issues with that. I highly recommend these boots for any recreational hiking anyone may do.
4.0 out of 5 stars Comfort and durability - priced right.
I had previously purchased a pair to the low cut hikers, and loved those. I'm all about the need for support in the arch, and these shoes have it, along with flexibility around the ball of the foot. Wear great right out of the box. The low cut pair I ordered the wrong size, a half size to large and a wide, per the Bolo recommendation, that was a mistake. I ordered this pair in my regular size 10 M and they fit perfict, first try.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great shoe
Light weight, fit nicely without cramping my feet. Work 10 hr days and my feet do not hurt afterwards. Only problem is that laces need to be double tied or they come lose throughout the day.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality and very comfortable. Fashionable looking boots!
These boots are very comfortable. 2 day shipping! They are well made and look great too. I have tried many brands and these are by far the best bang for your buck. I had to order the wide in these because I have wide feet and they are plenty wide enough. I like the quick release lace notches at the top because they make it really easy to lace them to the correct tightness and easy to take on and off. They have awesome tread on the bottom and are non-slip on all terrain. They are so comfortable out of the box that they don't need different insoles; I usually put running insoles in all my boots/shoes. These are my 2nd pair of Nortiv 8 boots. I liked my Black Nortiv 8 tactical boots so much, I had to have these stylish hiking boots for casual wear. The black Nortiv 8 tactical boots have held up very well over the last 6 years and I still have them. These style boots look great and are for everyday wear, work, or hiking. I love them and I highly recommend these boots! You can't beat the price on them either!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the price
My second hike with these was 8 miles. Very comfortable. Wore well. Roomy for my toes. I'd buy it again.
3.0 out of 5 stars Great for light hiking; no for serious hiking
These were $50 on Prime Day and waterproof. I thought YOLO and would test them out over 50km or so around San Diego. They were solid. Did a 50km moderate hike in Olympic Nat’l Park a few weeks later and they were fine, though I was limping by the end. They did prove to be waterproof and I bought new insoles which cost more than the boots. Then I walked the Overland Track in Tasmania - a 100km difficult hike in streams and over boulders/roots for most of the way. These were still waterproof (wore gaiters entire time) but after a few days of high impact, ankles started to hurt. A week off the Track, I’m limping heavily and have severe ligament strain. I left my shoes next to a garbage can in Hobart - mostly because I didn’t want to deal with their smell on the 12k km multi-leg trip home. Not the fault of the boot - I should have bought something way sturdier and more expensive. This is a great boot for light hiking. Just don’t take this on a bucket list excursion expecting it will provide adequate ankle support.I do recommend, just not for heavy, pack based hiking. Your ankles, arches, and metatarsals will thank you.
Excelentes
Son muy cómodas, están amplias y están bonitas y son de buena calidad. super bien .
Great shoes for a great price.
After reading many reviews and the note on the item page saying that they generally fit to size, I picked up a pair of 9.5 black boots (with some grey trim) as I dig anything in black. If Batman wore a hiking shoe, this would be it. The stitching is well done and the fabric looks great - they don't look poorly made by any means. They appear to be water proof/resistant up to about half-way up the boot, at which point the water would seep in through the top - they aren't hip gaitors or water boots, so I wouldn't expect them to handle much more than a few inches deep puddle/mud. They feel super comfortable underneath my feet and around the sides - nothing awkwardly poking into the arch of my foot or the sides of my ankles. While I did pick my usual size, they do feel *ever so slightly roomy* - but I am wearing super thin socks and if I were wearing a thicker pair, I'm sure the shoe would be filled out a bit more. Also, I feel like if I got a smaller size AND wore a thicker pair of socks, I would find it slightly cramped. Also! Hiking tends to make your feet a bit bigger from the bloodflow so I think it's a good call to settle on a little roomy rather than a perfect fit when you're at home on a couch. I like how easily they go on/come off - you don't have to do much lacing/delacing or do any forcing of your foot into it. You can feel that the sole is made from different materials in different spots - treads are made of a rubber to give you grip where the rest of the sole is made from a harder material to make the soles last longer. Toe cap for a bit of protection/grip/easier ascents. Comes with an extra pair of laces. The photo on the item page does it fair justice but if I get around to pulling out my camera, I'll add a few photos of the shoes before I begin destroying them. All in all - super happy with my purchase and I trust they will serve me well on my thru-hike of the WCT in a month. Thanks for the sick boots, Nortiv8!
