I spent a long time reading reviews and I ended up buying this one, and one by a different drug store brand. The ABH pencils I've been using are too expensive so I needed some affordable options.This Maybelline pencil is a quality product. The color doesn't pull red like many other brown-toned pencils. The micro pencil is tiny enough for drawing hair strokes and it works great for outlining underneath and around the tail end of the brows, and filling in sparse areas.It has really good staying power, I rarely need to touch up my brows throughout the day, especially if I set them with a setting spray and a thin layer of translucent powder.

I used to purchase an expensive eyebrow pencil and needed a change. I really like that this one is very fine point and fills in perfectly. I have some spots with no brow hair and the pencil still colors in and color stays all day no smudging or sweating off.

I have tried countless eyebrow pencils over the years. Light brown, blonde, slate and more. None worked. I'm fair skinned with almost completely white hair. My search began when I first began turning gray years ago. This particular brand taupe eyebrow pencil is absolute perfection. Soft, natural look that blends so well with skin, eyes and hair. I keep a back-up in my make-up drawer at all times.
