I bought these to practice making cakes and decorating them . They are a little flimsy so I put a sheet pan under them to not spill anything. Super easy to clean off . There is no weird smell to them , from what I can remember.

5.0 out of 5 stars WORKS WELL FOR WHAT I NEEDED
The cavities in this mold are PERFECT for the Keto breakfast sandwiches I make! I prepare large round precooked sausage patties and melt cheese on top of them...and I crack a large egg in each mold cavity, and beat it well, with a fork...I place it in the microwave for about 45 seconds to a minute, and it creates a perfect egg disk, just like what you find in fast food breakfast sandwiches! Since Ketogenic lifestyles don't eat grains/flours, and other things that inflame or create carbs that turn into forms of sugar in our bodies, I make a "chaffle bun" using mini dash waffle makers. (Two chaffles...one for the top and one for the bottom! I place the juicy sausage with the melted cheese on one chaffle, then the lovely egg disk that fits over the sausage patty beautifully, and then the top chaffle...OR sometimes I'll place a sausage on the bottom, the egg disk, THEN another sausage patty, (with the melted cheese on top), then the last chaffle. Delicious! I place the mold on a small cutting board so that the mold has support. I'm guessing you could also probably bake the eggs in an oven or under the broiler.... but you'll need to keep an eye on them. You can also probably make a whole sheet of 6, let them cool, and then place small pieces of parchment paper between them, pop them in a Ziploc freezer bag and freeze them for later use. These molds would also be perfect for Keto buns using almond flour.... baked in the oven! To create basic chaffles I grab a glass measuring cup, and pour in 1/2 cup of shredded cheese (I use different ones...cheddar will make the chaffle taste different than if I use Mozzarella or Mexican blend), and then add ONE LARGE egg. I grab a fork and mix it well. You can add sweet or savory herbs or flavor but the basic one is perfect for sandwiches of all kinds. THEN when the two mini makers have heated (the light on the lid will go off), take a small 1/4 measuring cup and fill it to the top...level...and gently pour it into the center of the maker...lower the lid, and then pour the rest of the mix into the second maker. Do NOT open the lid...it will take around 2.5 to 3 minutes for it to be done. The maker will smoke at first.... once it stops smoking, carefully lift the top and gently separate it from the unit, set it on a plate, grab the other part from the second unit, and then build your sandwich! Amazing and rich and delicious.

I ordered this for making air fresheners. It shipped flat in a small protective box and was perfect for what I needed. I then ordered a second one which shipped rolled up wrapped in plastic. It left permanent folds in the mold that would not come out. I ordered a replacement which also shipped folded up, leaving the mold shape permanently altered. Defeats the purpose if you need a perfect circle. Works really well if you can get them to ship it to you properly.

I make breakfast sandwiches for my boyfriend to take on his way to work and was search for an easier way to prep them. I used to beat the eggs and bake them then cut into squares to microwave later but I wanted a way to put as close to a fresh egg as possible on. This is absolutely perfect for that. I spray with cooking spray, crack 2 whole eggs in each mold, break the yolks, add spices and bake it until firm. My boyfriend loves that he gets a sort of fried eggs with a defined yolk, and I get something that’s easy to prep on the weekends for the week ahead. Cleanup is easy. Just make sure any pieces of egg are gone and throw it in the dishwasher. You have to be careful to put this on a pan to move it anywhere because it’s not sturdy enough to stay flat when you move it but I’d recommend to anyone for this price point

The item it’s self is perfect but unfortunately they packed it in such a small box the mold is not keeping a perfect circle as it should be which sucks hopefully leaving it out helps it some.

Poorly packaged
I've bought this to use with resin. I really hate it when they're folded over multiple times for posting. Even when filled with resin they do not straighten out. My makes are not perfect circles. Would be a perfect product otherwise.
