We bought this as part of a costume. It seems like maybe it is intended as a magician’s coat, because of the red satin lining and the many pockets. We got a large size based on the recommendation, but found it to be long for our son, who is about 5’3” and who is normally a large in children’s sizes. It dragged on the floor and was broad in the shoulder and chest, although I would not think it large enough for an adult man. Anyway, I hemmed it by about 2.5 inches and now it is about one-quarter of an inch off the ground. Our son loves it and it seems sturdy enough that it will hold up for a while for costume play and some outside wearing (although I don’t really think it is intended as an outdoor garment.)

Came quickly and it was a great fit. I ended up getting a cord to tie around my waist because the only tie point is up at the top. The cord just added to my costume look and turned out great though!The material it is made of is quite durable.

I purchased this because the description said it was more like a cloak closed in the front. What I got was wide open with not even strings or velcro or any way to close it in the front. Otherwise fine?

Great fit and color for wanted to get a Jedi color. Thin and light weight, moves great and floats when you walk. Only thing odd the strings for the hood are a little bit bright, but it’s not a problem to make me not want to wear it and either can be cut or darkened with dyes or paint.

This robe is a great option for those in need of a costume cloak. My tall, thin 9 year old got the kids L and it fits him perfectly. The bottom hits right around the ankles and the shoulders aren't tight or constricting. The sleeves are nice and full which not only makes them look better, but it also allows for layers if you happen to live in a cold weather spot.The fabric is pure polyester and it has a slight, but not too noticeable, shine to it. I appreciate that it washed up perfectly - all of the shipping wrinkles fell out and there was no funky smell that sometimes comes with costume clothes. It is sturdier than most store bought costume pieces and cheaper than buying an "official" cloak.
