I got 6 of these to store different types of pasta, rice , beans, popcorn, and cocoa mix. I have shelves in my kitchen that were filled with mugs, cookbooks and pitchers. Since I am desperate for shelf space in the cupboard, I took down what was there and put up the jars.These are clear glass, well-made and have a rubber seal on the underside of the lid. They’re pretty heavy when filled. Very well-made, heavy glass.

My only quibble is that these do not hold 78 fluid ounces as claimed.I tested with a couple different measuring cups, and found that 2200 ml fills the jar to overflowing.That is 74.4 fluid ounces. Perhaps the manufacturer is also counting the air space in the lid? Yes, the space is there, but you cannot make use of it.Otherwise:-- The jars are very solid without any obvious flaws, and no chips or scratches. (They were well packed, in closed-cell poly foam. It would have taken some serious shipping abuse to damage them.)-- The wire is indeed stainless. It is very shiny, and in the past I've been sold things that claimed "stainless" but were really chrome-plated carbon steel. A magnet does not stick to this metal, so I'm confident that it really is stainless. (Magnets do stick weakly to some flavors of stainless steel, but this is a good test to eliminate plated steel.)-- The gaskets are silicone as claimed, and are a sort of translucent white. They are easily removed for cleaning and easily installed. They are a common size (about 3.7 inch OD), and fit my other similar jars.-- I like the square shape very much. That allows these to fit in places that round jars with the same volume would not fit.

I am very happy with these canisters. Firstly, they are quite large and look good on the counter being that they are clear. I put jellybeans, pistachio nuts, and pretzels in mine. With those items in them not only are the canisters colorful, they are functional as well. Easy to open and appears to be somewhat air tight with the seal at the bottom of the lid.

Beautiful tall canisters that seal well and look great when filled. The quality meets my expectation and I am pleased with my purchase. The came well padded and packaged.

The closure is a little clumsy, and they are not water tight. The silicone ring also tends to trap moisture and mildew, which is proving to be difficult to clean. They work great for dry storage, and I had no problems when I was just storing cereal and rice and such, but when I made sangria I started to regret my decision.

Love these! Look nice on counters, fit nicely against each other no wasted space,seal tightly, labels for content when it's not obvious - salt/ sugar or flour/ powdered sugar etc .Recommend!

Great storage jars. They look nice with your choice of products you want to store. The seal is strong and will keep for a very long time!!! The price can't be beat. Compare your cost.

One came in broken
One was broken what a waste
Functional, but came scratched.
Jars are functional, but all 3 came with scratches/scuff marks, pretty disappointing considering how much they cost.
