When I ordered, I didn't realize these were solid MDF, not cradle-board-type construction. However, they took the mixed media, adhesive and acrylic paint well. Because they are solid the hanging wire sticks our more than I would like, but that's my fault for not purchasing a cradle board and not a reflection of the product. If I'd had time to drill a hole in the back to go over a hanging nail, that would have been better. But, again, that is on me.

Pay attention this isn't real unfinished wood. A veneer on one side, the rest looks like something that isn't wood. Not exactly what I was expecting.

I'm not a craft or woodworking person, but I needed a few blocks of wood and these were the right size for the job. I didn't have access to a saw or to someone to cut them for me, so it was just easier to order these from Bolo. Was it a good value? I don't think so, but it was convenient.These appear to be good quality, but I'm not an expert. They came well packaged, and they were cut all exactly to the same size, and appear to have an even and unblemished finish. Exactly what I needed to complete a last-minute craft project. They were perfectly cut, had smooth edges and I was able to spray paint/cover them in one coat with no problem. These blocks were perfect for my needs and reasonably priced.

The wood blocks are MDF, not solid wood, which is kind of disappointing. And there’s a relatively strong smell upon arrival. I assume the smell comes from the chemicals in the MDF.

right size for crafts
Perfect for a small project
These blocks were absolutely perfect for a small DIY project. Really good quality MDF blocks that worked perfectly and were sturdy enough for what I needed to do. Exactly as described and arrived quickly. I've left them undecorated for now but they will be very easy to paint as necessary.
Good blocks. But it comes from China
The blocks are fine. However because this product Congress from China, I no longer has need for it by the time it arrived.

I stuck 2 of each together, bought 2 packs and an excellent product for raising my PC Tower of the floor.
Beautifully finished painting blocks
These nice chunky blocks arrived on time and I was very pleased with the quality....no sanding required. I use them to do small gouache paintings and they are perfect.
Not MDF
These weren't MDF. However they did work for the job I had in mind.
