I'd been suffering through functional issues with an easel that I purchased 20+ years ago which could not manage my avid return to painting as stress-relief from COVID lockdown. Painting every day after a 15 year hiatus from it, the easel began to refuse to lock canvas holding brackets into place.I was reluctant to purchase something sight unseen/untouched, but local shopping proved fruitless. I needed something that was versatile, lightweight, functional, and affordable. I also HATE having to return anything I do not like. After months of reviewing and debate, I decided to purchase this one. My painting studio is in our basement, but it has a lower ceiling height than standard (7.5'), so I was also worried about working height for this easel.I could not be more happy.I read reviews on this easel expressing frustration with the lack of clear instructions, which offer ONLY diagram assembly (graphic illustrations, nothing written), but between me and my spouse, I figured we could do it.When we opened up the box, we noticed that bolts, knobs and other small pieces were packaged in plastic and labeled with a letter matched to the diagram. So...we laid out the parts and got to work. We made a couple of mistakes early due to confusion about how pieces fit together through our interpretation of the diagram; however, this was quickly corrected. Within 20 minutes, we had it put together.While it's heavier than my old one, I could easily lift it, but I purchased this one for its wheels which make it simple to maneuver. This easel takes up less space than my old one which has a deeper footprint due to its design (triangular base).This new one is highly functional, easy to adjust, allows multiple angles (including flat), and the wood is lovely. It is sturdy and well-crafted. My only complaint is that I had to get used to dealing with the way the slider piece works with the brackets which hold the canvas. Since my old one is not this sophisticated (it was a cheap one...what I could afford at the time), I quickly realized that I simply needed to learn how this one works. And all is well.I highly recommend this easel. It is consistent with what I see educational in painting studios. The price is excellent considering how well-made and functional it is. Makes me feel like a legit painter. ;)

They must have updated directions as they were easy to follow. Most of it was put together already. Seems very nice and sturdy. I have no reason to think it won’t last years to come.

I love my easel it’s narrow enough to fit in my small space. About 17 inches wide. Some cons is that the dual easel option keeps you from lifting the top one any higher. I’m short so that’s perfect standing, but wouldn’t work for taller. And then there’s no tray for pencils. But the brand is solid. At school we have the single easel with tray of this brand. I’d prob order that next time. But this is a beautiful solid easel and easy to put together.

gave it a 5 stars cuz it came with a screwdriver and mini wrench. THANK YOU, like seriously. I don’t own that kind of stuff, so when I saw that they came with the easel and its parts, I was relived. Anyway, I definitely think that there are many many easels at a cheaper price that have a quality as good as this, but it’s pretty good in itself. it was actually very tiring to put together, but if you searched on youtube they actually posted a tutorial on how to build the easel (very useful) so if you’re confused while building it, just look on youtube. cheers to a good painting experience. P.S: package is sooo heavy omg almost died (jk)

High versatility. Working on a 48"x62" currently, I can move it with ease to any anglr or lay flat if its heavy paint or tilt for drop.w.e. it can handle itself. Just check on the tention pins. Easel appears huge but space use is no difference bw any other IV ever found. Its super easy to clean. If u have ever put anything tg its ez to assemble maybe 25min if u have a quick snack maybe have a drink. User w the only 2 needed which they provide! Shame on ne 1 who can't. Highly Awesome and I mean !!AWESOME!! Customer service. Main reason I know I can trust Co. certainly stick with meeden easels. I dont like spending $ and I had to contact due to dmg! To use it and have it fail 2nd day into a new piece is absolutely bs,stressful and filled with anger! Not here! There customer service is hands down the best!!! Before I even had time to return it they had new 1 otw. Dropped off old 1 same day the new was to arrive.Its just awesome holds two 3x4' no prob. Put up reference, old ,nxt, 2 set. W.e. comes w 3 holders. Can hold flat to any half circle angle. Plus it has wheeles so u can monster pieces around safely or when wife yells not in there!Have to give 3 star for low sturdiness besides that bangin product. it will hold any angle but can b hard to level bigger canvas. The tension pins can damage unit so dont tighten down like the hulk. Tighten as little as needed. Only thing that sucks. Just check on it to make sure its secure if using heavy large frames or if you paint like mike Tyson. I tighten b4 and after use and moving.

Love this easel, easy to assemble and many options for art placement/tilt, etc. Very easy to move around with the wheels. I’m sure I’ll get many years of use.
3.0 out of 5 stars Came with scratch that seems to be growing…
First arrived with some minor scratches throat I didn’t mind because I was abt to cover it in paint but one was on the track for the moving pieces that hold the canvas up and down. Recently the piece seemed to get stuck or snagged and I had to take off the screws completely and force the piece to move. I have some mixed opinions just from that but it does the job. I’m giving it 3 because yes it does the job but I don’t know if it will last.
Perfect easel
This easel is beyond my expectations, very well made with attention to details, every piece fitting perfectly. It is sturdy but compact, saving space on my floor, versatile, can accommodate large or small canvasses...and is beautiful to look at. I was not expected that quality for the price. Best easel I purchased in years.
Good eassel to work with
From out of box my eassel was looking like you see in the pictures. Out of ajustament. I ordered this eassel after I read all reviews and I considered a good choice. I was not so lucky. But because I like to have good stuff and I am very handy ,and the material was hardwood, I lined up I put it in adjustment and I make it one of the best eassel possible. I give it only 4 stars because I work a lot to lined up. Now is up to everybody to understand if it worth or not. But I am 100% sure no one eassel out of the box works like Swiss watches , like mine (after I opened piece by piece and re-lined up) I will cam with more pictures later to see the difference between the eassel I bought and the eassel custom made I did. The botom line: for the money I paid is a very strong eassel, but still basic one. I wish good luck to all. May. 26. 2024: like I promised, today I came to add more pictures and to tell you more about this Very Strong and Basic eassel. For the paint lovers: if you want to paint landscape like Bill Alexander you have to use 1',2' and more sizes brushes and ,of course, a lot of pressure. From out of the box , this eassel can't hold the canvas. It move. For this reason I add some wood and screws and now can hold the canvas Very Well, no matter the pressure you apply on it( can use 11×14 in to 18×24in canvas and bigger). I adapt this eassel for1/8 canvas board hold it very well (size 6×8 on to 12×18in and more). I add an detachable table to hold paper towels and tools. From an old tripod I made a table to hold and mix the oil paint. Very handy: can be raised to your high to stay straight (I do have Bob Ross pallet, but if I keeps few hours in my hand, my hand starts tired). I also made an rack to store canvas after I apply gesso (I ordered from Bolo 18×24 in pack of 4 double prime canvas, and I used like this , and when starts drying, in few days, the canvas sack oil paint and ruins my picture. From that time I double prim byself every canvas with greish gesso). Dear reader, I know how important is to get the wright information about the things you looking for. 2 days ago I give it for this eassel 4 stars because I worked a lot to raise it the standard. But today (after I worked many days on it, raised the standard and made it to meet every painter needs) I will give 5+ stars . After a long story this eassel give me peace of mind and make me happy every moment I paint. Now, dear reader, is your turn to put in balance every word I writed down and pictures I send. GOOD LUCK!

I love it !
This is my favourite purchase in the whole world !The instructions were incredibly easy to follow. I even put it together during a power cut at night by candlelight!It's such a cool piece of equipment and looks beautiful left out In my kitchen !You can move it to your requirements,it has 2 places to put canvases and you can lay it flay to pour on acrylic inks etc.Well worth the money !
