It was like dandruff of the skin and very embarrassing. And I certainly never wore black! I was using every grocery-store lotion and cream I could find and Aveeno Oatmeal soap to bathe. Nothing worked. I have many, many bottles of only partially used products because when they don’t work, I move on to buying something else. This is the first time I have ever used Shia cream. This is a super product with little scent; all around great for severe dry skin. I read a lot of reviews about different Shia creams containing a lot of granules from particles. But this cream is very smooth. Occasionally there’s a little granule but not much. I also read a lot of unrefined Shia products that had a lot of odor. This product has very little scent and it is not noticeable once rubbed into the skin.

As I have aged (72+), my skin has become very dry and flaky. After some research, I thought I would try shae butter and found this item. I know nothing about it and realized some is better than others in processing. I learned shae butter can have an offensive odor and can feel grainy, so I wanted to avoid those 2 issues.This product has zero odor, and is very smooth and silky. It’s very thick in the jar so I bought some “popsicle” sticks to scoop out what I need. It thins out nicely once you rub it between your palms and it glides on. My skin soaks it up immediately. I don’t find it greasy at all once it is rubbed in. I use it on my feet, I’m diabetic and need to take good care of them. Just an fyi, never put this or any kind of lotion between your toes as it will hold in moisture and can lead to fungal infections.I was hesitant to try this because I didn’t want anything that felt greasy on my skin. It has met my needs and I am glad I decided to purchase it. It’s a large jar and should last quite awhile. The added moisture just to the backs of my hands makes them look so much better, and so do my feet.

Getting the raw product with no fragrance well it is awesome uses are many not just on skin but leather goods etc just place amount needed in your hand warm it and voila it works right into whatever you are using it for, just great! Thank you

Smells awful but works better than almost anything I’ve used. I added peppermint essential oil and let it sit overnight (after I melted it), and it’s so much better now.

Been using shea butter for years for my hair and skin. This is the first time I purchased shea and it stunk to high heaven. More than likely it was rancid. Didnt even return, just threw it away. Wish I had known. But now you do.

It really is alot softer than regular pure shea butter alot easier to apply. It keeps your skin soft and moisturized way better than coconut oil. I have eczema and it this is a better product for anyone with same issue

Yes it’s moisturizing. Very oily at first (if you can get it out of container and make it ply able). Pat dry excess.
