5.0 out of 5 stars Great Purchase!
Inexpensive, comfortable, blocks light very well. I see a definite increase in time slept when I wear it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best of 7 masks tried
For our family’s Alaska trip this summer, in the Land of the Midnight Sun, we knew we would need some kind of light-blocker in order to get a decent sleep. It was really hard to tell from the photos, descriptions, and reviews, which products were actually superior, so we purchased 7 different sleep masks. After trying all of them for two weeks, we can give other buyers our comparative reviews. Listed below in rank order from our best to worst, here are the 7 masks we tried:ZGGCD• This was the first one that I tried, and it worked so great. After this one, the other masks were okay, but they were just not quite as good as this one. (except for MZOO which was very, very similar). This ZGGCD mask was priced fairly at $9.99.MZOO• Another great model. Nearly identical to the ZGGCD brand, but it has a large MZOO brand printed on the front. And it cost twice as much. (I paid $19.99)LKY• These masks came as a 3-pack for $9.99. They were an economical option that worked surprisingly well, and were not uncomfortable. These were unexpectedly much smaller than the other masks, but they really did work fine. The band seemed tight, but it was adjustable – I guess I just never adjusted it. These masks kept the light out, and the eye wells were deep enough. Two of my college kids liked them well enough that they borrowed these for another trip they are taking next month.Alaska Bear• I figured this mask was just made for the Midnight Sun! Quite a bit smaller than the extra plush masks. Not very thick either, but again to my surprise, the small masks worked just as well as the luxury models. The price for this one was on the upper end ($14.99).Zenssia• The satin looked and felt luxurious, and at the $19.99 price, it tied with MZOO for being the most expensive mask we tried. The velcro band stays secure, and did not get caught in my hair. The cloth over the ears actually felt nice. But, I can’t say this mask was nice to sleep in. If you didn’t keep the band tight, the mask sort of shifts or spins over my face as I move. And if I pulled the band tight, it seemed to put all the pressure right across my eyes. So this mask was a no-go.LitBear• At $14.39, this was on the pricier end. There is a nose bridge piece that helps block any sneaks of light, but I preferred the superior comfort of the masks that didn’t have that extra fabric bridge, over having every last peep of light obliterated. I can say the nose bridge had a nice cool feeling that I liked. But the critical problem for me was that my lashes brushed on the inside of this mask.MABAO• The mesh fabric on the outside does not speak comfort, but I realize that the outside fabric does not really rub on the skin, so it shouldn’t matter. However, the eye pockets in this one were just too shallow. I hadn’t even known that shallow eye wells could be a problem, but I am sure glad we had other masks with the deep eye wells. We bought this MABAO mask at the budget price of $5.99I might have mentioned that I am a real mover in my sleep, and sometimes these masks fell off, but to my surprise that didn’t happen often. Many in the family are side-sleepers, and none had complaints about buckles or straps pressing into their heads. After trying these 7 masks, we felt we could offer some helpful feedback to other shoppers. My best two recommendations were ZGGCD ($9.99) as the best mask of all, and LKY which was a decent and functional mask, and there were THREE masks for the same price. Then there were the three that I just could not get comfortable with: Zennsia, LitBear, and MABAO. I wouldn’t recommend these. Happy travels everyone!
5.0 out of 5 stars No lightt
These sleeping masks are awesome! They shut out all the light and have a soft filling that feels like a squishy, yet firm, lining. It's just perfect. Used on a plane recently and it worked great, just like they do at home. I ordered two just to have an extra on hand.
4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty comfortable and keeps the light out
This mask works well keeping the light out. And it's pretty comfortable. I'm not used to wearing a sleeping mask...so I might not be a good judge, it feels weird having something on my face falling asleep. It stays in place through our the night.
5.0 out of 5 stars ZGGCD is closest Mzoo dupe after reviewing 8 brands!
Have owned the Mzoo mask for a while but wanted to get more/backups. I saw another review that looked at several different sleep masks and found it pretty helpful but wanted to expand into a few other brands not on their list, see if there were other gems. I’ve listed my favorites below from highest rated to lowest and put in the price range (sale/full) and my overall rating out of 10. For reference, my nose bridge is not very tall and my face isn’t super wide, so the fit on my face may yield different results than someone with a very different facial profile. I also usually sleep on my back. After trying these, I will be keeping the FengXinZi, SmartRest, ZGGCD, Gritin and Albatross. Time will tell how well these hold up to usage and washing. If I find one of these falling apart or losing shape completely after hand washing, I’ll update the review. I will be returning the Yiview, FlyCoco and LKY Digital masks.FengXinZi 3D - $10/14 9.5/10 This might be the best blackout one I’ve tried (100%) for my face shape and nose bridge. Wraps very closely around the face and eyes and is soft around the nose, but while it’s very soft, it’s more foam-like than the silky material of Mzoo/ZGGCD. The ridges on the inside are also pronounced (on the taller side) but there’s no hard border like on the Gritin so apparently it’s still more comfortable for side sleepers like my partner. Also has very deep eye sockets, deeper than Gritin, so better for those with very long lashes that would brush against a mask like Mzoo/ZGGCD. Eye sockets aren’t as wide out though so they wrap around my face well but for wider faces, maybe the blackout effect will be different. I wish the padding was a little silkier and flatter on the face but it’s amazing for blackout and not very expensive either.SmartRest - 2 for $13 - 9.5/10 This one is probably the best quality for the value of being just $6.50 a mask. Also a great dupe for Mzoo! 97% blackout, material feels like Mzoo on the inside. Not as deep on the eye sockets as masks like the 3D/Gritin, but the ridges are flatter so maybe more comfortable for side sleepers and those who don’t want to feel the ridges as much. Very underrated for its value!ZGGCD - $10/16/20 9/10 The closest dupe for the Mzoo mask. It felt just slightly plusher or softer than the Yiview one. On sale, they’re around $10 which is very affordable for being comfortable and 98% blackout. At full price, it’s still about half the price of Mzoo at full price. Like Mzoo, the ridges are flatter so would be more comfortable for side sleepers, but for super long lashes you may get some eyelash brushing.Gritin - $10 - 9/10 Surprised me with how good it is for just $10. It also has deeper eye sockets than Mzoo/ZGGCD so if you have long lashes or extensions, this might help you experience less eyelash brushing. Eye socket area is wider than FengXinZi so maybe better for wider faces too. Has a nice textured look and feel on the outside. Wraps around the face like the FengXinZi 3D but the texture on the inside is more similar to Mzoo/ZGGCD, except around the forehead and cheeks where the ridges are more pronounced than masks like Mzoo/ZGGCD. About 98% blackout, which is really good. The side ridges aren’t as tall as FengXinZi but it does have a harder border around the edges so for side sleepers this might be less comfortable.Albatross - $10 - 9/10 Probably most similar to Gritin for the ridges and how deep and wide the eye sockets are, but material is closer to FengXinZi (foam). 98% blackout. The eye socket area looks wider than FengXinZi so maybe that’s good if you have a wider face. This and Gritin feel pretty similar to me at the end of the day. Great mask for its price and also comes with a carrying bag and soft ear plugs.Yiview - $13/15 8.5/10 Looks identical to ZGGCD. Felt maybe just slightly less plush when I first wore it. It does recommend washing first though, and maybe that’s why it felt marginally more firm. Depending on the sale, this is very comparable to ZGGCD so you could go with whichever happens to be cheaper at the time. Similar 97% blackout. Preferred ZGGCD so will be returning.Mzoo - $20/30 - 8/10 The first mask I ever tried a few years ago, worked fine but not cheap, which is the main gripe. I use lots of face product, so I’d need several to rotate out and air dry after washing. This just isn’t very affordable if you need multiple. But it’s comfortable, not very tight, ridges aren’t too tall, and 97% blackout for me with light coming through around the nose.FlyCoco - $12/13 - 8/10 It looks just like the FengXinZi 3D down to the box, so I assumed it was the same mask under a different seller. But while I really liked the FengXinZi mask for its 100% blackout on my face shape, this was more like a 95% blackout. Also has more negative reviews about smell (I didn’t notice a bad smell) so I’d go with the more reviewed FengXinZi. Preferred FengXinZi so will be returning.LKY Digital - 3 for $10 - 7.5/10 Very affordable, and also 95% blackout on my face shape, but it’s not as full coverage and not as plush on the face, almost makes me feel like it would leave indents on the skin if you made it tighter. If you’re planning to give away as freebies or willing to just use and toss after a trip, this would be a great economical option. Will be returning as I have no need for these when the other masks are generally better quality and I want them for keeps.
5.0 out of 5 stars Super soft sleeping mask which is 100% dark
This product comes highly recommended! It is super light and soft. Plenty of space for lashes (inc. extended lashes). Used it on a transatlantic flight, slept soundly and felt refreshed when taking it off. We'll see how it holds up in the laundry.
5.0 out of 5 stars Truly Light Blocking!
I have had several sleep masks but this is by far my favorite!1. Super soft on the face, and the band, though adjustable, never feels tight like it is digging into my ears, or too loose.2. The little eye pockets allow for my eyes to open fully with the mask on, and still be in complete darkness.3. Blocks light completely. We put a flashlight directly on the mask over an eye, and all I could see was darkness! The only place where a little light could get in if the mask is not on the face right is at the bottom where it sits on the nose. A small adjustment with its position on the face and the light goes away.4. I sleep on my side. This mask does not interfear with sidesleeping at all.Overall, this is the best mask I have purchased, and I tend need to hide it from my husband so he doesn't steal it for himself. He uses it when he has a migraine or hungover. Works wonders for him!
Produto de qualidade
Já conhecia essa máscara, foi para repor a que meu pai utiliza diariamente. Apenas demorou muito, isso prejudicou bastante.
Best sleep mask I have ever used
This is the best and most comfortable sleep mask I have ever tried. I am obsessed. I don't usually write reviews, but I have used this for a few months now and can't sleep without it. I bought another in case this one gets lost. I can't get a good sleep if there is any hint of light in the room. These blackout everything! I love it so much.
Super Cómodo!!!
Permite abrir los ojos sin sentir fricción o presión en ellos. No comprime la nuca ya que la banda elástica es ancha y cómodaVale mucho la pena para descansar!
Amazing sleep mask

very happy with the purchase, masks are soft, comfortable and lightweight, fits well with adjustable strap, and almost 100% black-out effect. highly recommended.
