I am a very occasional cigar smokers, and wanted a cost effective and low maintenance (no seasoning etc..) humidor. Very easy to set up just pop in your humidifying packs and your good to go.The Scot humidor is very nice aesthetically, and looks nice on a table in the living room or wherever. Holds humidity perfectly well.The accessories are a nice touch, they do the job however do not expect premium quality cutters with this box.

I smoke a pipe, and occasionally smoke cigars. When I found this it was the perfect look, and size that I was looking for to hold my cigars and my pipe tobacco. The hygrometer tested accurate and did not need calibration (used a boveda test kit to confirm such). It's a little large for travel in my opinion, though that may vary based on how much or how little you pack when traveling... for me I pack only what I can fit in a 3 day assault pack. I gave a four star for accuracy, not because of the accuracy of the hygrometer, but rather the accuracy of the item description. When I received my humidor it did NOT come with a humidifier (bought one from my local tobacco shop that I purchase my tobacco from), did NOT have the cigar cutter nor the punch either. If those are not included then it should be removed from the item description. Overall I'm VERY pleased with the quality of this humidor, and it holds humidity in very well....also it looks very good on top of my small home minibar that I have.

Great product for someone just getting into cigars. Nice little kit with everything you need to get started. Has held up pretty well on keeping humidity level. I would recommend getting Bovida packs to use with it. Not necessary, but they really help with maintaining proper levels

Overall this is solid acrylic clear humidor, and keeps humidity right out the gate. The only noted exception is its size, this is best of 10 cigars, maybe 15 cigars, not more. I would not expect to get more than15 cigars (6x52) or more than 10 (6x60’s) in this humidor. I had a mix of about 20 varied montecristos and the lid would not shut.If you’re looking for a nice case to accommodate 10 cigars, this works, if you want to store 15, 20 or more cigars of any larger thickness - keep looking.

This humidor is small but a perfect size for my pipe tobacco. I kept buying good tobacco but it would dry out quickly, and I don't use it really often. This humidor is perfect!!! The hygrometer is easy to read and registers quickly. Now my pipe tobacco stays fresh and moist. The humidor seals very tightly. I had trouble opening it the first couple of times and then it got easier. Good price, perfect size for a few cigars or 4-5 packages of tobacco. This was a good investment.

This great little novelty of a humidor works well, is reliable, and makes for a real eye catching conversation piece. I keep it on my desk at work. Every time a visitor comes in, it's a sure bet they're going to notice it (how can they not?) and ask about it...what the cigars inside are, where did I find the "cute"humidor, and so on.A few observations: The unit holds humidity well. Upon receiving it, I washed it out (really not necessary, but I'm picky like that), placed the included cedar sheet inside, and put not one but TWO hygrometer / thermometer combinations inside it and a 69% Boveda pack. After letting it sit for 22 hours, both hygrometers read 69.8% Rh.(Note that both of the digital hygrometers were calibrated by using the Boveda 75% salt test calibration kit for absolute accuracy.) So there's obviously no question about the unit's ability to hold humidity.The only fault I find with this product is the hygrometer they put on it. As shown in the pictures, it is an analog hygrometer. By my own experience (and that of many of my fellow cigar lovers both on and offline), the VAST majority of this type hygrometer is not accurate and not to be relied on – especially when you're talking about premium cigars. This is easily remedied by getting a digital hygrometer ($ 5.00 tops) and placing it in the unit. Note that the included analog hygrometer IS adjustable and can be set to the needed reading after initial calibration is done. I still trust digital hygrometers to maintain their accuracy MUCH longer than analog ones do before they need recalibration, but that's simply the nature of the beast.All in all, I highly recommend this unit. If you have any problem or questions about its use, contact the seller first. He's responsive and helpful, and was glad to assist me.

The humidor itself works perfectly. Does not leak and retains humidity very well, the added humidity thingy works a little too well, so I recommend running bovetas instead or using very little distilled water (1-3 drops at first). The added wood slice is thin and curved but when you load it with your cigars and get it to the proper humidity it releases a very pleasant aroma and lays flat. Cutters are ok as they are made of plastic and are not the sharpest, but still work. Punch sometimes unravel cigars even if you turn it slowly and are careful, so beware for expensive sticks. Great value and great product so far, seems sturdy enough to endure the test of time and it is perfect for a begginer.
