I bought these specifically for kickboxing. I looked at the reviews for the name brand shorts and wasn't really impressed with what I was reading (especially for the price) so I decided to give these a try. For what one pair of the name brand shorts cost you get three pair with this brand. Upon delivery I gave them a good once over and they seemed to be well made. I did an initial try-on and they fit very well (FWIW I am 5'11, 185 lbs and wear a 33 to 34 waist and I bought the medium size). I threw all three pairs in the washer and let them air dry. Yesterday was my first time using these for kickboxing and I am very impressed with how they performed. Our uniforms use muay thai style shorts (aka very short) and these extend below the bottom of the uniform shorts a good 3-4 inches (approx to the middle of my thigh). The material of the shorts themselves are very smooth, breathable, and light. The waist band is also very comfortable. These shorts kept everything stable, especially during kicking drills. I have read some reviews that state that these are not "true" compression shorts and tbh I'm not sure exactly what that means because I've never owned a pair of compression shorts. However, these are very snug without being overly tight. I can honestly say that I forgot I was wearing them they fit so well. I also like how well they wick away moisture which is largely due to the material. Previous to these shorts I was wearing boxer briefs and they hold moisture in the wrong places. The material in these shorts reduced this problem significantly. Of course long term durability has yet to be seen but, for the price, I am extremely happy!

The fit chart was spot on, and the shorts feel well-made and sturdy. They keep everything in the right spot and provide great protection against chafing, which is essential for longer runs. I’ve tried many brands before, but I’m really glad I picked these. I’m not overweight, but I do get chafing during long runs, and these shorts completely eliminated that issue for me.Additionally, the side pockets are a great feature. They securely hold my oversized cell phone without any worry of it slipping out. Overall, I’m very satisfied and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable workout undershorts with pockets.

The other two are alright but haven’t exercised in them yet. Fabric seems light and opaque but thin and somewhat revealing in the front. For the price, two out of three was still a good deal. The size runs slightly large. I wear a M in bike shorts but ordered S in these and still they’re not very compressive. Leg length is slightly longer than most of my bike shorts but okay. I’m 5’8 with 32 waist and the S are a so-so fit—wish they had XS for more muscle compression in the thighs. Otherwise, flat seams and waistband are soft-touch and comfortable.

I've bought multiple pairs of these because I like them so much and now I have enough to work out everyday with a clean pair. Highly recommend these shorts. Very comfortable and fit well. Bye bye chaffing

While I think that calling these "compression" shorts is a a bit misleading, I do think they're great shorts. I run between 40-50mpw and use them on most runs. The side pockets hold an iPhone 12 Pro Max w/a case (Scooch Wingmate) fine with very little movement while jogging. I can't speak to how they perform while sprinting. For reference, I'm 5' 11" and 200lbs. I ordered a size small (based on waist size recommendations) and they fit great. I wouldn't say they're true "compression" shorts - I feel like true compression shorts provide targeted compression to the lower body (glutes, quads, and hamstrings) and offer support and stability to these muscle groups during physical activity. There's no targeted compression here; they're just not tight enough. But they are snug. And I do like them. Can't speak to longevity yet, but they seem like they'll hold up longer if I line dry after washing.
Comfy
I'm a big guy and have big thighs, so I need something to prevent chafing. These fit the bill perfectly. They go all the way down to just above my knees and fit snug around my legs while being super comfortable
