I got these for items I need to store for longer periods that have an acidity that damage metal lids. They fit great on both sizes, but are not all leakproof. One or two seems to be but I'm not shaking my jars, so I don't care. I just needed plastic. I'm thrilled I was able to get some of each size and at a decent price. UPDATE: I've now ordered more than one set because they are so useful. I use them for pretty much anything that needs a food safe lid except for canning or my medicinal herbs when I either need canning lids or can use an older canning lid.

I’ve been using old mason jar, rings and lids. So glad I found these. They fit perfectly easy to clean and it’s all I use now.

By “seal” I DO NOT” mean a canning seal. I just mean they are great to use after you’ve used a “canned” product and want to reclose the jar. They do wonderful! They don’t leak and are just a handy lid to have around. I make homemade yogurt, but I don’t like to use metal rings, so these are perfect. The price was great and I plan to invest in more of them!

These r nice to have on hand to replace the ring & lid when u have opened a jar instead of fumbling around with the 2 piece lid. Easy clean up & the big mouth lid fits on top of my cat food cans & screws off easily. Very helpful my kitchen. I also use the jar & lids to store left overs n the fridge instead of those expensive plastic bowls that warp easily n the dishwasher. A must have in my kitchen

Should have bought these a long time ago. Metal rusts quickly on a sailboat, plus I’m fermenting and pickling and metal lids are horrible for that on a sailboat. These are excellent.

Works well with my mason jars and is much easier to use than the metal rings and lids. Have not used them for long term storage and not clear if they will work as well as the metal rings and lids.
