Excellent entry level humidor. Well made, great seal, holds steady levels! I opted to disregard the little humidifier strip it came with, only because I’m partial to Bóveda pouches. So Ive had anywhere from 20-30 cigars in there at any given time, and the humidity is always at a constant 72 with 1 large pouch. You could probably downgrade to a 65-69 pouch if you live somewhere naturally humid like do (Miami) and be totally satisfied. If you smoke anything longer than a Churchill or a Lancero, you might have to lay your sticks across which means your divider is useless but I happen to like storing some things in there and it works for me. I have some longer cigars and they fit just fine. There is a tray which is ideal if you use pouches....just throw one in there and lay the tray over it and voila! Great tabletop humidor if you aren’t sure of what to buy. I had a couple of $20-$30 smaller ones and they just don’t hold up. This looks classy and does the job! Highly recommend. Enjoy!

I have owned several humidor's in the past 16 years. I had a very expensive Thompson since college that was my primary humidor. However, over the years the Thompson started to not hold the humidity no matter what I tried and the seal was very open. I purchased this Mantello and followed the standard "break-in" process for it. I only use Polypropylene mix for my humidor's due to the better humidity levels and antimicrobial properties. Like other state the hygrometer might be off a little. I have not tried to calibrate it and instead prefer to at least know it is providing moisture to my cigars.Pros: Great seal, you can feel the lid closing tight and it maintains humidity greatly. Looks fantastic. Great price.Cons: Can't really find any. Not sure it holds 25-50 cigars. They must be very small to fit that many. But it holds plenty.

I have had this box for almost a week now. I followed the seasoning instructions as well as the salt test for the hygrometer.Using a teaspoon of salt and a few drops of water to wet the salt, I placed the hygrometer in the bag and looked at it occasionally through the bag and it never got above 70%. Following the directions I assumed it must need to be calibrated to 75% so I inserted a small screwdriver into the back and it would not adjust. The needle would move up but then snap back to 70%. Accuracy of the analog was a fail. Having read the reviews, the digital hygrometer I ordered showed up two days later. I put the analog hygrometer back in the box to seal it back up and with a wet sponge soaked in distilled water, lightly coated all wood parts of the inside of the box. I then put 2 of the 84% Boveda season packets inside along with the digital hygrometer and shut the lid. Day 5 and I am at 81% on the digital with the 84% packs inside while the digital is stuck on 70% still.So far, no sticks in box yet but holding out for the recommended 14 days of seasoning. Holding out hope I can maintain the results…. The craftsmanship seems pretty good. Well it looks good anyway!

The product looks elegant, and appears to be well built for the money. The hygrometer is absolutely junk though. It’s showing about 8% lower than actual humidity. I’ve tried to look for a replacement digital or analog hygrometer to fit in the same hole, but it’s not really a standard size.edit:After Nick read my review he sent me not one, but two replacement hygrometers!You can’t expect any better service than that.My son has another brand humidor, and seasoned it as suggested, but his doesn’t hold the humidity very well. Apparently it’s not sealed as good. This thing is ROCK SOLID at 72% on my digital hygrometer.

I am a seasoned cigar smoker, a friend of mine is just getting started. I purchased this for him and filled it with a bunch of starter cigars. The box is well-built. It seems very sturdy. It has an elegant clean look. It is important to season in your humidor properly. It is very important to moisten the wood around the seal to get the proper air lock. The bottom of the box is covered in a shelf material to prevent scratching on your coffee table which is very nice. I found with competitors humidors they only Supply little Rubber grommets that end up falling out Leaving the box unstable and damaging your furniture. This is a 10 out of 10 buy. The necessary components are included the box is well built you can’t go wrong with the price.

This humidor looks very well made, looks awesome and has an incredible cedar smell. The fit and finish is very nice.It was worth the wait. Plenty of storage, and the bottom grate will hold the large Boveda Pack easily.It is in the process of seasoning, so may need to write an update after it is seasoned.Have an Inkbird Hygrometer inside with an 84% Boveda Pack. At the moment the Inkbird says 75%, as does the Mantello Hygrometer. The Mantello Hygrometer is accurate, as the Inkbird was salt tested and was spot on.Great seller and nice product!

I was looking for an entry level Humidor for my Husband as a gift. He loved it. It looks really nice and has some nice hardware accents. Then he realized his humidity would not stay constant and i think the hygrometer is not responding. Hoping the cigars are o.k. I would have given 4 and 1/2 Stars if the hygrometer/ humidity issue were resolved.
The hygrometer is not working
The box itself is good quality but the hygrometer isn't working, I tried to calibrate it but it's stuck on 60% and won't move, I used another hygrometer to check and it confirmed that the one with this order is faulty. I tried to contact Mantello direct through their website but no reply and I can't return the item for some reason so am stuck with a useless box that has a non functioning hygrometer
Hi Quality and does job well
Excellent Product, i dont bother even looking at/using the analog hygrometeri bought a cheap digital one for $3, and placed it in humidor, and with the glass top, dont even need to open it, to see the level of humidity. Works like a charm at exactly 65% with my Cubans (+ Boveda 65%)Make sure you season it for 2-3 weeks with a Boveda pack - i used the 84%
It is getting apart
After a few months of use (through which we were satisfied with the humidifier), it started to get apart from one corner!Disappointing…
