This product is made in China, but it is well-made. I have used other Chinese products, but they were not good, so I threw them in the trash. I bought this product thinking I could throw it away again, but I feel good because I bought it well. It is an excellent product that is not inferior to the Harley CV40 product. If you are thinking of buying it, I would like to recommend it.The shipping was very fast. The air cleaner bolt size is inch bolt size, so I was able to use the existing air cleaner bolt right away, which was very nice. It works perfectly. I highly recommend this product.

This carb fits great and fixed my bad idle due to to clogged jets. Starts up easy, idles perfect, and the quality feels great!

My bike; Stage 2 2003 Twin Cam 88Purchased this carb after my OE Harley CV40 had egg shaped float pin holes, preventing float pin from seating. Installed and works GREAT! But take note of the following;- the float bowl does NOT have an overflow and is slightly shorter. I swapped my float bowl from my stock carb. No issues with fitment or function.- float heigh is surprisingly accurate, did not need to adjust further. But you MUST check it!- This is a cheap Chinese carb and as such, you MUST take the float bowl off and inspect for manufacturing debris. On mine you can tell the assembler used too small of a screwdriver to install the jets and left witness marks. I transferred my aftermarket jets over.- Idle mix screw is not covered, a plus! But it is tight and I recommend carefully working the screw in and out to loosen it slightly. From LIGHTLY seated, back out 1 3/4 turns for starting tuning.- before installing air filter make sure the accelerator pump is primed and squirting fuel.Mine fired right up with no issues. Set your expectations; it’s a cheap carb that does a great job. I bought a used carb off eBay and had issues that could not be seen without disassembling, so keep that in mind.

I was very skeptical in the beginning but for the price I thought I would give it a try I purchased one of these carburetors and I put it on my fat boy Harley Davidson. It went on and mounted up exactly like a Harley carburetor there’s really no difference between the two in the carburetor I had on my fat boy is giving me a lot of problems. This carburetor once to put it on and adjusted everything got everything right I started writing it and was really shocked at the immediate power difference as well asJust a sheer performance no more backfiring the smooth increase in RPMs and back down so just to tell you from somebody who is now used three of them on three different bikes I have all outperformed the original carburetors and I have passed the test of quality for me and I build bikes

Wasted money with this carb. Inspected it and compared it to my keihin cv carb. The bowl is a little larger and there is no overflow. Installed and went to hook up fuel line and the fuel inlet came apart. After I repaired that by tapping a taper into it then lightly tapping it back in place I turn the fuel on and fuel leaked from around the accelerator pump. Took it off took it apart and the seat for the pump diaphragm was so poorly routed that the diaphragm doesn't quite line up. Wasted too much time with it already so I canabalized it for whatever screws and parts I could use when I rebuild my old keihin carb.

Works great & easy to install.
Don't forget you my have to re-jet the carb to work on you bike. After re-jetting it works great. I installed it on a 1982 Harley fxb.

Works ! Plug and play ! Once mix adjusted and idol done and rejected for my application it seems to be working fine .i checked the float and it was perfect . Time well tell ! The reason I gave it 4 stars are the return throttle hole needed to be bent to line up the holes for the cable tab to fit .2002 fxst softail
Started right up. Runs no issues
After a failed purchase through another manufacturer I tried this Pucky carb on my 03 FXST. Installed and fired right up no issues. Rejetted and runs perfectly.
Not just a bolt on and go!
Shipping was very quick.The biggest complaint I have about this carburetor is that it doesn’t have a float bowl drain screw or an overflow tube. Should you ever forget to shut your fuel off and a piece of dirt gets between the needle and seat or the float is set too high, the only place that raw gas is going is into your engine via the intake manifold! Guess what’s going to happen when you fire your engine up?The fix is to swap the supplied fuel bowl out for one that has both the drain plug and the over flow feature. They are interchangeable.This is what I did because guess what?When I checked the float height on the new carburetor it’s float WAS set incorrectly and would have leaked gas into my engine.I realized you get what you pay for and the carb does seem to be well made. It has a stock 45 slow jet and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it came with a 185 main jet. Bonus!Need to put some miles on to really see how it preforms.Hope this review helps a fellow biker.
