Canon has some of the best ink and toner out there...it's just WAY overpriced. I've been using some of the "aftermarket" toners in my MF Imageclass from time to time although they don't come close to Canon toners, not to mention they ALWAYS fail after several hundred prints no matter the brand. but they're CHEAP! These OEM carts will be REFILLED with InkOwl toner once spent...DON'T discard your OEM carts! InkOwl is nearly as good as OEM, but you do need the OEM carts for the transition!

I know they cost more, but it's so worth the price! As with some products, with these you really get what you pay for. I had previously purchased knockoff brands and had toner leaks, scratches on chips that totally kept me from printing, etc. With name brand, never a problem and keeps my company moving smoothly!

I’ve been trying off brand for a while and every one causes dirty pages over time and I never get the full use out of them. These official canon ones can’t be beat. Pay the extra to get the quality. It’s worth it.

I’ve learned the hard and expensive way to only buy name brand Canon toner cartridges. I bought the generic ones, and the printer will reject them and WRECK your documents with ink spray. As soon as I bit the bullet and paid well over $400 for the real thing, the copies are great. The cost of the cartridges is absolutely ridiculous, but you have to have them. So it gets 4 stars for being a good product but way too expensive.

I have worked with and around Konica, Canon and Xerox printing equipment since 1977. I tried after market products only to regret it. I would rather pay the extra money and get something I know will work.

1.0 out of 5 stars cartridges had leaked prior to opening - poor print quality at start
Ordered a complete set of Canon OEM cartridges. No problems with the yellow, but the magenta cartridge had leaked powder and produced multiple red lines from top to bottom of the first dozen pages printed. When I opened the cyan box, I found that the cyan cartridge had leaked as well. I have been using Canon OEM cartridges for several years and never had this problem before. We'll see what condition the black cartridge is in when I replace that. UPDATE: Well . . . here I am 3 days later and the magenta cartridge continues leaking and leaving red lines down the entire length of the page - even when color is not required. (last 3 pictures). Totally ruins every copy. Also noticed something interesting. BOTH THE MAGENTA AND YELLOW CARTRIDGES ARE "STARTER" CARTRIDGES which typically contain less color than regular replacements. Was I ripped off?
OEM is the Best
There are so many ink and toner knockoffs out there but trust me when I say, always go with Cannon OEM. We learned the hard way and bought a knockoff and it was just terrible. These OEM ones work perfectly!

Toner seems to be damaged by mail. Was making strange noise.
Colors works fine. Toner is doing lines even if we make several cleaning. Was not doing this with other toner. Most probable broke during mailing. Was doing strange noise when received.Not making me look professionnal atm :-/Cannot afford another one at the moment.
