Ordered this for replacing wood quarter round with PVC quarter round. It works great. My hands aren’t as strong as they used to be but these shears cut through the quarter round with ease. Accurate cuts, well made tool and cut down on time spent on project. It’s a great value. Word of caution… the blades are sharp! Always close and lock the shears once the desired cut has been made. Do not leave the blade open. I learned the hard way, even a small brush up against an unguarded blade will cut your hand.

I cannot stop raving about these shears! I was working on a DIY project and needed to cut trim at an angle to make shaker-style drawer fronts! At the hardware store, the pieces were so small they kept getting sucked into the saw. Enter this - now a non-negotiable in my projects! These cut through 3/4” pine trim like BUTTER! It’s super easy to use and comes out just like you want. I had no issues cutting. One random thing I was afraid of is if the pieces would go flying after you cut them due to the force, but they didn’t at all! Super happy with these.

This is a pretty cool tool when you don't want to continuously bring out your saw to cut some trim corners. I used this while building a greenhouse and I needed to cut down trim for several windows. For the most part, I was pleased. I will say you need a bit of a strong grip to rip through it and the cut wasn't always clean (meaning the trim kind of split since it isn't just a fast/sharp cut) but nothing some caulk and paint can't easily cover up.The accuracy was pretty good and I don't have any complaints there. You, again, need some grip strength to move that knob to the right position, but you don't really want it moving while cutting anyway. Wouldn't recommend this for a thicker trim. I used it for quarter round and that's about all I'd say I'd recommend it heavily for.

Outstanding product!The only thing, and it's really minor, you just need to be aware of is that it tends to cut unevenly. Hope you can see it from the picture. It's really not an issue. If it is an issue for any reason, you just have to sand it down evenly. Of course this may not be an issue if you aren't using it for the purpose I am which is building doll houses.The other GREAT thing about it is you get TWO extra blades with it. I find it hard to believe that under normal conditions I will ever need any more blades and if I ever do, I will be sure to buy this again.And last but not least, it's made in the USA!

I bought this item to cut quarter-rounds, hoping to avoid using a miter saw and going back and forth between the rooms and the garage where I keep the saw. The prospect of using some kind of scissors was enticing, especially when you can adjust the angle of the cut.This product is impractical for 2 two reasons:- It only works for non-wood-based quarter rounds, you cannot cut through actual wood with it.- While it cuts easily through non-wood-based quarter rounds, the cut is not vertical meaning that you cannot join two pieces together neatly.Now back to using the miter saw again...

The tool works good and cuts good but there is no 22.5 deg option which make this tool a 3* for me. I don’t know if I would buy it again for $30
