5.0 out of 5 stars Good popcorn
Good deal and good popcorn
5.0 out of 5 stars A clear difference!
I don't leave reviews often, but I was impressed. I eat tons of popcorn, so feel like I can be a little judgmental. I clearly see and taste the difference in these beautiful little kernals compared to the last few name brands I purchased. I use an air popper and it even popped differently. It pops evenly and very few kernels are left unpopped. It's so crispy, light, tender, and fluffy. My only regret is having waited this long to try it. I'm sold on Bob's Red Mill Popcorn!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Popcorn!
Works well with the new stove-top popper. Pops every kernel. Excellent taste.
4.0 out of 5 stars Big, puffy kernels with few unpopped kernels when popped in my microwave corn popper
Large, very puffy popcorn. Crisp and fresh.
5.0 out of 5 stars big fluffy corn
popped corn is a nutritious snack
5.0 out of 5 stars NOT ONE unpopped kernel!
Every single kernel popped. Few and small hulls, tender and tasty. We pop our corn in a pressure cooker pot without the top on.. We use a screen, available on Bolo, to let the steam escape, keeping the corn crispy and to keep the corn in the pot. Put corn in the pot, one kernel deep, and oil halfway up each kernel.. We use coconut oil. Without putting salt in the pot, cook the kernels, on high. We cook the kernels until one kernel pops then take the pot off of the burner, continuing to shake the pot. After one minute put the pot back on the burner and continue to pop the kernels. Remove the pot from the burner before all kernels have popped to prevent burning.
3.0 out of 5 stars We downgraded Bob's Red Mill popcorn after long success
Downgrading from 5 to 3 stars for quality issues. We purchased 14 of the boxes of Bob's Red Mill Yellow Popcorn over the past year. Most cartons were terrific, but later started running into possible mold or freshness issues. Threw out several lately for unpleasant flavor. (We learned quickly we had to pop a test batch from each new bag, before we would serve from it to guests.) The printed timestamp hasn't been a reliable indicator, as matching timestamp across two bags can have very different flavor results. We'll keep trying other popcorn brands in our quest for best popcorn brand overall.--- previous review (Feb 24, 2023) ---Title: Bob's Red Mill Yellow Popcorn: WINNER of our "bake-off"When our previous favorite (Jolly Time) sold us several batches that tasted of stale or mold (which we discarded), it was time to find a higher quality popcorn. We selected these candidates for our taste tests:- Whole Foods 365 brand (which we really enjoy)- Connect Snacks Gourmet Butterfly Yellow Popcorn (also tasty, though a few unpopped kernels)- Bob's Red Mill Whole Yellow Popcorn - (winner, hands down). Tastes like movie-house popcorn. Best freshness, thickest mil packaging for air-tight storage, nicely textured large pops - all great features. Now our movie guests keep saying "the popcorn tastes great!"We drizzle Extra Virgin Olive Oil onto freshly popped corn to enhance its flavor and texture. With a winning popcorn, fine friends and a fun film: we enjoy great movie nights!Hope this helps you as you shop.
5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST WE'VE FOUND!!
