Your garage can be organized. A place for everything and with these hooks you'll have that! I'm a little bit of an organizing freak. So in order to make my garage clean and swept, things have to be UP. These hooks hold up to some pretty heavy weight and I like that they have a rubber-like covering to make things stay in place. I didn't buy any expensive bar but what I did was take an old unused piece of 4 X 1" board that was about 5' long and screwed it to the studs. I first put all the tools, shovels, brooms and rakes on the floor to see how they would be positioned when hung, in order to save space on the board. In the end I needed another 4X1" board (which was left from the last owners). I used the double armed, single hook for our 6 folding chairs that were staked 3 together, one set above the other. And the 2 ladders needed also the double armed, single hook. This is the second set I bought for hanging a folding work table (that I'm currently using). When I am done with what I need I will give the rest to my son-in-law who loves looking at my garage to get ideas. The rounded hook is used to hold the grand-kids' hover board. I love that they don't have to wonder where their hover board is and they know where to put it back. A place for everything and everything in its place, makes for a happy home owner! Although my husband's idea of organizing is placing everything up against the wall ON THE FLOOR, he appreciates having things off the floor and more walk space in our one car garage that we call a glorified work shed. Because of these simple tools (and very inexpensive!) we now have room for a large exercise stand and can set up a card table as an extension for family games when everyone is over. The straps that come with the set as a bonus, I have already bought at another time but I'm sure my son-in-law will have plenty of uses for them.

These are much better than a tool standard tool storage bar rack, IMO. with standard racks everything is mounted at more or less the same height so its difficult to store rakes, shovel, pushbrooms near each other bec of their width. With this system you can simply isntall them at different heights and save yourself a lot of horizontal space. I have them mounted on drywall with anchors and they hold fine, no movement or sagging. the system comes with a weight rating chart for each hook based on what material youre mounting on.
