I can’t really comment yet because it’s for a Xmas present! It arrived in time, nice presentation. I know my grandsons will have a blast with this, and I’m excited for all of us adults to play! Let you know in a few months!

This glides great on our linoleum and wood floors. We have a little metal thing on the floor between the liv8ngroom and diningroom/kitchen and the little soccer ball gets stuck there every so often because it's not flush to the floor. It bounces off walls and the fireplace with ease. Doesn't do well on carpet unless it's a flat type carpet, we expected that due to the description. The lights change and aren't too bright. There's a little hum from the soccer ball, but that's just the airflow for the hover part. We bought it for one of my husband's nephews, and we were surprised there were two (like the picture, often the pics show two but only send one) so our daughter got the second.

One unit was missing the battery connection (the positive/negative connection plate/spring). I tried to find a contact number for customer service but was pointed back to Bolo. One unit worked, it appears to be in good working order and I think the kids will enjoy. I simply returned the defective item and reordered. I will say that delivery time is amazing (next day)! Works well on vinyl floors and even concrete. Must be careful not to step on fully as I do think the plastic parts could easily break down.

UPDATE: Turns out my nephew in his excited impatience just inserted some random old batteries he found that were actually leaking battery fluid...my sister-in-law told me she put brand new batteries in the second hover ball (the one he hadn't opened yet) and it worked perfectly. When she inspected the first one, she discovered the old batteries. After cleaning it out and inserting new batteries in the first one, it worked perfectly as well.He's happy and I'm relieved. Great gift for him!I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. He excitedly opened it up and put batteries in it....it did not hover and it did not light up. He was basically kicking around a big piece of plastic. There was air coming out of it when turned on, but not enough for it to glide on any type of flooring and it looked like there might have been some faint flashing light coming from around the bottom rim, but not at all on the top like it shows on the packaging. Very disappointing and now I will have to get him a replacement Christmas present.....after Christmas.

This is a cool idea and a neat toy, but the "bumper" is made of a styrofoam-like material that my dog chewed up easily. It also is easy for her to pick it up and carry it away. It seems like chewing up the bumper threw off the weight of the disc and it doesn't slide around quite as well now. At almost $20 it's not really a throw-away toy for us, so it might be worth it to try to find a replacement material that's more durable.

Fun for my kids, even my boyfriend love playing with this inside. The quality is light weight. Works great on hard wood, I don’t think it’ll work on carpet.

Brilliant fun
I bought this for my cousin because he loves football but isn’t so keen on playing in the rain! Since it’s now the cold, rainy weather season he would be less likely to go outside to play football. This is ideal for kicking about indoors, and is a lot less likely to damage things than a traditional football - no chance would he be allowed to be kicking one of them around the house!These are a very good price - I have seen single units sell for the same price as this twin pack. Each hover ball takes 4 x AA batteries to power it’s fan - I was really surprised when it “took off” from the ground and hovered! It works exactly as expected - it hovers slightly above the ground and when kicked or nudged, it goes in the kicked direction and sort of hovers there.Very impressive little bit of kit and has provided hours of entertainment so far! The batteries seem to last forever - we used it daily for around 2 weeks before the batteries needed swapped out.

Reminds me of air hockey but with your feet! Super cool. Kids love playing with this. We use our little hockey nets.I found the exact same ones at our Discounters Store for $5...... So keep your eyes open for cheaper 👀
Great for idle moments when trapped indoors
These are great indoor fun for idle moments. You might be lucky enough to also have a smooth outdoor surface in your garden, otherwise they are definitely only for smooth indoor floors such as laminate and tiles. They won't scratch the floors as they hover slightly (although your children could scratch the floors whilst playing)!They come really nicely boxed, very gift-worthy although be aware that you'll need your own batteries.I didn't think they looked too robust at first, but they have lasted remarkably well with two children using them at the same time in a relatively small space. Inevitable knocks and bumps, but that's why they have bumpers on them. The flashing lights are also very nifty.Both the children have really enjoyed playing with them and they've had laughter too. In these regrettable times of lock down that's exactly what they've needed when going stir-crazy indoors.The longevity of play isn't great (bored after a few minutes) but they keep going back for a few minutes of silly fun, and that's what it's all about. The dog would love to play with them too...
