5.0 out of 5 stars Great design and sound
Love the beautiful design and the sound is great. Bought one for myself and as a gift.Quality and price are great.
5.0 out of 5 stars Money well spent!
The media could not be loaded. I recently got into vinyl and was on the hunt for a quality but reasonably priced record player with built-in speakers (I'm not a fan of suitcase-style record players.) Took a while but I finally came across this little gem. First thing I noticed? It sure is pretty to look at! I was looking for a record player with a vintage aesthetic and charm but not to the point where it was brown, boxy, and ugly (I know you know what I'm talking about!) Based on the majority of the reviews, this product seemed to do its job pretty well. The price was right - not the cheapest one out there but it also didn't break the bank. It's easy to set up and is super user friendly. I put in my first record and I was pleasantly surprised! In the video, it's not even close to full volume. It really does fill up a room with sound! Sure, an audiophile will probably find little things to pick on when it comes to this record player's sound quality but to the casual listener who can appreciate music sounding good for a reasonably good price? This record player should do the trick!I've used the vinyl, radio, and Bluetooth functions of this record player and all have been working fantastic, so far. I honestly am SO glad I purchased this record player! I highly recommend, especially if you're just dipping your toes in the world of vinyl like me! I'm obsessed!P.S. The dial in the front lights up and is a nice touch!
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing function and decor
The media could not be loaded. Love this record player. So pretty, vintage inspired. Ability for sound to be much louder (than our former Crosley player). Only qualm is it does make a rattling sound with higher bass songs
5.0 out of 5 stars Best in class for price range
You could spend less, if you're looking for a record player to gift a 14-year-old. You could spend more, if you're a music producer/artist/DJ. If you're like me, and you just want something that will play vinyls with good quality sound and volume that can fill a studio apartment without being obnoxious to neighbors, then this is the record player you're looking for.The wood/textile aesthetic is pleasing and, for $100, surprisingly cheap. The top can be closed while playing vinyls. There is an output in the back for speakers, should you want more quality/volume, but I'm very satisfied with the built-in speakers- which was my biggest anxiety before buying. Very happy with the product and price. I'll be using it for years to come, and will just add external speakers when I get my own place. Also, the BT and FM radio work very well and BT hooks up easily from my iPhone. I like using the BT feature to sample vinyls before buying them.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great record player, worth every penny!
I got this after Christmas when my Mom surprised with a box of lost records from the 70s and 80s. The player looks nice aesthetically, sounds great, and I love that’s it upgraded with Bluetooth. I have ordered a few recent vinyls as well. Definitely worth the money! Bonus is showing my kids some of the music from my youth sounding the way it did back then!
4.0 out of 5 stars More straw than oatmeal but great sound
For the price, this is exactly what I wanted. It's compact, retro, with a crisp sound. My only complaint is that I expected it to be off-white. Instead, it has a slight gold cast to the material.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice player
Very retro and nice, gave as gift with album to my “Swiftie” and it was a hit!
5.0 out of 5 stars This is a treasure
As I age, become more and more nostalgic. This absolutely fit the bill for what I was looking for. The sound is great… And I love hearing all the cracks and pops in my old LPs. Would highly recommend!
Love the look.
The media could not be loaded. Bought this to play my vinyl collection. I wanted something compact with built in speakers for convenience. I was looking at a classic suitcase style player and this one caught my eye. I loved how the speakers looked and how streamlined the entire system looked. One thing I’ll add that’s not a pro or a con. My partner is a vinyl fan and told me it’s belt driven. This doesn’t mean much to me but this information wasn’t included in the product description (from what I could see) but it may matter to other buyers.Pros -it can play the record open or closed. This is a nice option.-versatility. It plays radio and records of different sizes. There is another player that also plays CDs that has a similar look.-sturdy design and attractive finish-doesn’t feel cheap. The controls operate well and are well made.-front emblem glows when on -it’s a nice detail-mid century like legs adds to the charm. It’s not real wood but the entire finish is very nice. This system has a more traditional look that’s appealing.-came very well packaged with detailed instructions.Cons-sound quality is just fine. Not bad by any means but it won’t blow you away. My partner is a much more avid vinyl collector and his system sounds significantly better in comparison (keeping in mind his is significantly more expensive). However the sound quality isn’t too bad considering. But if you’re very particular about sound quality this may not be the one for you. I have a slight hearing impairment -mostly affecting bass sounds so my perception isn’t always accurate. My partner, with typical hearing, said it was ‘not bad’.-a bit bulky to transport. It’s not a suitcase style and the lid doesn’t lock. It’s a bit heavy and wouldn’t be great for travel.Overall this is a good player that’s attractive and works great. It looks different than others models and stands out.I would buy it again and enjoy using it.
A Handsome Unit That Sounds Good
The media could not be loaded. I bought this Victrola Highland for a smallish room where I wanted an all-in-one unit. This one fit the bill with the features I wanted and an outstanding look. A lot of these kind of players look cheap but this one is very classy looking. The front panel is very clean with just the FM tuning dial and tweed finish instead of being loaded up with plastic cheap looking buttons. The aesthetic is definitely a 10/10.The sound is pretty good. Obviously this is not big hi-fi sound but it fills the room nicely whether it's with the record player or the other functions. The auto-stop function on the turntable is preset to be on for 33 but off for 45 and 78 which makes sense as it tends to stop prematurely with a lot of 45's. A nice touch and one less thing to mess with. (This will be an issue with storybook type records which tend to be 7" at 33 so best to keep that in mind if you plan on playing those.)The FM radio and Bluetooth work fine. I haven't tried the AUX in but I'm sure it's good to go.Overall I'm very happy with this player.
Sounds great. Looks great.
So far so good. I originally bought a cheaper version and it skipped all my old and some new records. This one plays them all beautifully. No complaints thus far. Cool vintage look. Still inexpensive but much higher quality. Definitely worth the purchase for under $100
So far so good
This is my 3rd record player. I purchased a different model before and had to return it twice because it showed up broken, and the second sounded terrible. This one sounds much better, and so far so good with it not breaking. It's definitely a starter record player, it's not quality by any means but looks cute, and does it's job
Fair sound, but won't replace a proper stereo.
For what it is, we are impressed with the sound. This won't replace a proper set of speakers, but for our 12 year old listening to records in her room, the sound is decent. The Bluetooth works well, but the sound quality goes way down. Handy that it has a radio option, and it looks really nice. Easy to set up, easy to use.
