I've a number of nose trimmers, including two from Panasonic (including this one). The main critiques range from not lasting very long (the $17 Panasonic), being too harsh, and not being effective at all (Manscaping). If there's one issue with each: very low power.This trimmer from Panasonic has a much more efficient motor, and yields smooth results. Yes, it's nearly twice as expensive as the competition, but it works faster and better.

I have had many nose hair trimmers in the past, electric and manual. This one runs smoother and is more powerful than all the others (well perhaps not as powerful as a manual trimmer - but does a better job!). Is very efficient and vacuum feature is good and avoids additional clean up (keeps wife/partner happy at least). I think the price is reasonable for a quality item that should last for a decent time. Some of the other electric nose trimmers I have brought over the years May work ok to start with but do not last long - and none of them do as good a job - that is one reason I turned to manual trimmers which work reasonably but are less convenient and can pull at hairs. This one is very pleasant and comfortable to use and easy to clean. Would have been nice if it came with a bag/storage case like some others (I have used one from an old trimmer which no longer works). One other feature which it is missing is eyebrow trimmers - which would be nice but not the main reason I brought this trimmer.

I've owned 2 of the inexpensive panasonic. The first one lasted 10 years. Second one (water proof) lasted 18 months, the blade jammed. Both worked, but with one AA battery had low power. Feb 2024 tried Wahl kit with rotory blade, doesn't cut close and inline cutter is painfully loud, but in the recycle bin. This panasonic is the best. Cuts very close, has the right amount of power and is quiet. Its worth the price.

I literally have tried 7 or 8 different brand trimmers thru the years. This one is noticeable the best. It is designed well for cleaning and is sharper than any I have tried before. It is a bit pricey but there is a difference.

I have had this for a few weeks now, and the best feature is the vacuum. That works great; I will say that the instructions for cleaning with water are hard to follow for me, but I'm hoping with time that will be better (I'm an old guy).

It can't cut you. The silver part you see doesn't move, it is a "shield" and the blades spin on the inside. The small gaps are where your hair has to enter in order to be cut. Therefore, the only way for you to cut yourself with this tool is if you press it against your skin so hard that you smoosh your skin into those little slits. It tickles a lot though, that is going to be the worst part of using it.

The media could not be loaded. My old ER430 lasted me for many years. I then tried the bullet shaped manual nose trimmer but the experience wasn’t so pleasant. I could just go back to my old ER430 model but decided why not try this newer model that was built with more “powerful” motor, so I ordered this trimmer on Oct 10th 2023. It turned out to be the worst shopping decision I made for year 2023.Pros: noneCons:1) The trimmer stopped working after 3 months, or more precisely, after 4 uses. On my fourth trim, I noticed that this trimmer consumed way too much power because the two new AAA batteries that I put in since first trim had already gone out juice and I had to replace them. But just this morning when I tried to trim for the fifth time, the trimmer itself was completely dead and would not turn on after I replaced the batteries.2) It’s advertised “power motor” seemed like a scam; I could barely notice any performance difference compare to my old ER430 model. In fact, I noticed the trim would lose significant spin power after couple minutes. No clue whatsoever.3) That vortex system intended to flush out all the hair build-up was useless as well; I still had to take out the trim head to clean thoroughly after each use because there always some residuals.I’m pretty sure at this point that I had received a defective unit because how in the world this garbo can receive 4.5 star rating. It’s pretty annoying to go through their warranty process. I wish this could have dead during the very first month so I could just return it.
Everything you will ever need
It's fantastic. I though I would only be using it as a nose hair trimmer but the head shape and blade sharpness is so versatile, I use it to touch up the chin area of my beard, above and middle of the eyebrows, and of course, nose and ear hair.Fantastic product and looks and feels like the premium you pay for it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a higher end trimmer.

This item is great far better than others I've bought on the market. BUT I notice the guarantee states valid only in the USA. This is strange as offered on Bolo I would have thought product would have a worldwide guarantee ??Therefore buyer beware
