I have searched far and wide for the best cheap mascara and this is it. We all know Better Than S*x mascara from Sephora is the all time best if you’re rich but for those of us who don’t have $30 to spend on mascara, no joke this is exactly the same!!!!! Like exactly the same. I’ve used it for years and I will continue to. Last month I bought a different cheap one that had good reviews and I have been so disappointed I had to go back and get my trusted lash princess. I like the waterproof one cause it just stays on better (I get waterproof for any mascara). I also always use a makeup wipe to take my makeup off so it comes off nicely. LOVE IT!!! Cannot believe it’s only $5

So let me tell you a story.I (35F) have been searching for a waterproof mascara that lengths and defines my naturally full eyelashes, without clumping them together.After combing through reviews on Bolo, as well as comparing price and quality, I decided to give Essence Lash Princess waterproof mascara a go. What did I have to lose? It was only $5.And BOY let me tell you!! I was both BLOWN away, as well as very annoyed by the end of the night.This mascara gave me everything I wanted, AND more. Lash lengthening, lash definition and separation, as well as VERY WATERPROOF! I wish I didn’t have to use waterproof, but due to certain allergies, my eyes water like CRAZY. I have had to adjust my makeup routine to accommodate this.This mascara was the FIRST to withstand my watery eyes, without clumping, flaking or becoming patchy. The one downside to this… I have to do a triple skincare face cleanse, TWICE!!With that being said, this will forever be my holy grail of mascaras.

This has always been my favorite mascara, and it always will be. Not only is it affordable, it's also super high quality, especially for the price. It really DOES give you that false lash effect, while being completely waterproof!! It's been with me through so many breakups and freak outs, and not a single run. So literally do anything with this mascara! Run a marathon. Blobfish sob. Go swimming! I don't care, just GET IT!!! NOW!!!
4.0 out of 5 stars Lengths, No flakes, No smudge and super duper waterproof almost to a fault
Some people complained that it flakes or runs but for me it absolutely did not flake or smudge. This mascara definitely lengthens and volumizes my lashes. If you're looking for waterproof this does is it! It's almost too good at being waterproof because I struggle to get it off. I've used micellar water, oil, lotions, and scrubbed...it barely comes off. I don't even see the fibers when washing, like some. So, when I go to put on mascara the next day, I still have mascara residue I couldn't remove prior, which makes it harder to reapply a fresh coat. So my eyelashes haven't gotten that "first time" look again. I'm sure if I went a few days without applying and a few days of washing, it would all be removed. I will most likely only wear this mascara after I find a good solution to remove it, but until then only wear it when I go swimming, because it does great at staying put under pressure and water.

I bought this because I work outside and sweat a lot and it had good reviews, but I look like I have 2 black eyes by the end of the day. Being sweaty makes the mascara transfer onto top lid and below my eyes and it doesn’t rub off your skin. Even when I’m not sweaty, I get a dark shadow above my eyes from the mascara transfer. I guess it’s good for the price, it doesn’t wash off of my lashes in the shower but leaves a dark cast under my eyes. I’m not a huge fan

This mascara was featured on The Today morning show. Bought it right away and have purchased it several times since. No clumping….good color….good consistency…..AND, excellent price! I do replace my mascara every 6 months so I’m not willing to pay a lot. Don’t hesitate!
