5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT FOR BEGINERS!
The media could not be loaded. Today, I’m reviewing a Wargreymon plastic model kit from the world of Digimon, which was produced by Bandai. This was a fantastic build typical of Bandai's quality. The parts came free from the part’s frame easily with a pair of cutters without needing a heavy amount of sanding or filing. The model is not only poseable but also remarkably sturdy, a testament to Bandai's commitment to quality. The coloring is cartoon and manga-accurate for the most part, though the silvery areas aren’t really shiny. The shield on the back opens and closes to become almost wing-like it can be removed from his back and placed on his arm with a special connecting piece included with the kit. The claws on the arms, which it calls Dramon killers, are removable. There are a small number of decals to be applied and they are the sticker type rather than water-slide.This would be a great first build for anyone just starting out or if you’re trying to get a young one interested in model building. The box recommends this for ages 15 and up, but I think you could go younger with some mild supervision as the instructions were easy to follow and most of the parts went together well without needing a lot of force to push them together. No gluing was required, which isn’t always true of snap-together models. This model went together quickly, and there were few tiny parts. If I needed an army of Wargreymons, I would buy this kit over and over.
5.0 out of 5 stars Super cool and super fun!
Never built a model kit before but it went very well! Instructions had English translations and were easy enough to follow. Took me about 6-7 hours to finish (minus a food break in the middle), but then again I was going at a pretty slow pace I would say!Only issues I had were a few tiny ones, mainly that some parts didn't want to fully fit together properly, and that they can be hard to pull apart if you make a mistake. That would probably also make it less likely to break though.Besides that my only gripe (which is more of a nitpick) is the fact that the tiny black stickers that go around the horns are a tiny bit too short. It's not a big issue by any means, and it's not all that noticable, it's just a small nitpick I had with it personally which bothered me a little. All in all though, there's not really enough to complain about for me to want to take away a star. I had a blast assembling it and it looks cool as hell! Would definitely recommend it for any Digimon fan!Keep in mind that you will need a pair of micro cutters or something to cut out the plastic pieces with. I'd also recommend getting something to help you place those tiny stickers (I didn't have tweezers so I used a needle myself, which worked fairly well). All in all, very fun, would recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty damn good and detailed
The figure in the photo was my attempt at panel lining it, it doenst come with black borders in the yellow parts, nor armor.Assembled in a night, was simple enough, I forgot to put the eye stickers before making the head so take care with some steps, it was really hard to take the helmet off.The figure is quite heavy so the legs can make awkward movements when supporting all the parts. The wings are joint in the back by a marked piece, which in one of them didn't notice that it had a flat surface so I forced it into the back and now I cant take that little grey pivot off but the wing can still be detached so be careful with those kind of details, if the part is taking too much force to join, check if it has flat surfaces or something that it might need to fit in a certain way.

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable build, awesome look, difficult joints, somewhat delicate pieces
This is the first model kit I've put together and now I want to build more! The packaging was good and the box looks awesome (I actually kept it because it looks so cool). The instructions were easy to follow (although there are a few steps where you have to pay extra close attention to the positions of the pieces you're putting together - I had to pry a few arm pieces apart because I put them together wrong). Even though this was my first build (unless you count playing with LEGOs as a kid) I had very few problems along the way.The end result looks very nice even as it comes unpainted and with the stickers. There are lots of little details in the design that make you want to just look at it and take them all in. The gimmicks are cool too, though it looks the best without using them (except the wings - those are SO PRETTY!) Even my mom thought it looks really cool and was nearly as excited as I was. I always liked WarGreymon so it's very exciting to have such a neat figure of him, especially one I assembled myself.I was very surprised at how light the figure is, though. I knew it would be plastic but it feels almost like I've been cheated when each piece feels like it could break in my hand. One did, actually - about a month after I finished the build I went to change the pose and the right shoulder joint broke off. It's partially my fault since I forgot how tight it was. It would have been nice if the manufacturer provided replacement joint pieces at least. Now I have to figure out how to fix it and buy more tools to do so.That brings me to the biggest problem with this figure: The thing is really hard to pose. Since the torso and arms are so (comparatively) heavy, the legs must be positioned PERFECTLY or it starts to lean or fall over. The shoulders are also, as I mentioned, very sticky. Whenever I go to twist an arm, even gently, it makes an awful creaking sound that makes me worry I'm going to break it. There is also limited movement in the arms - they can go forwards and twist on a circular axis but you can't abduct them to the outwards at all. There is still a decent range of motion and that's not a huge sticking point, but it does make it more awkward to pose.Overall I'm very happy with the product, though I'm not sure it was worth the $60+ I paid for it. I should have waited until more were in stock and the price went back down, or saved $20 and ordered Omegamon instead. I'm also still bummed about the broken arm, though I do suppose that's my fault in the end. It looks very nice on my shelf and I very much enjoyed building it, and that's why I went ahead and pre-ordered MetalGarurumon as well - hopefully I have more luck with that one.
Fun to build !
I had fun building this model kit of Wargreymon. Had no choice but to buy the metal Garurumon one! the only bad thing about this is when your done because I felt like I could keep on building !Exactly as described, smaller than i expected, but it got an amazing look.
