First let me start by saying I have 2a/2b, very thin, bright purple hair. I have tried several different curly hair systems, and I have to say this is the BEST I've ever used. I started using the shampoo and conditioner, curl cream, and gel.The shampoo cleans my hair beautifully without stripping my color. I have not felt for the need to use a clarifying shampoo since I started with this brand. Yet it leaves my hair soft and manageable even without the conditioner. It smells nice but not strong. Oh and it dies not have a lot of sudsing so be careful the first time you use it. You will be tempted to use 3x the amount you need. Just make sure you hair is soaking wet and put a quarter size (for my thin hair) to you scalp and you will amazed at how it will clean your hair.The condition is so great! It gives great slip in the shower but does not leave a film or make my thin hair greasy. Nor does it weigh it down at all. I use a bit more than a quarter size and it is plenty. It rinses out so beautifully but still gives me that slip I am looking for while I scrunch my hair in the shower.So because my hair is so thin, I usually cannot use curl creams or at least not too much. It will weigh down my hair. But not this one. It actually helps tighten and curl my curls. No other curl cream has done that for me...ever! Before using this entire system my hair was more close to 1c/2a. Yes you read that right. Not anymore. My hair is so curly. I had no idea it could get that curly. Wow. All my friends have noticed, my husband, and even my kids. I love my hair now!Oh and somehow these products make my hair thicker. I have a scrunchy I use. Usually it goes around my hair 3 times to keep it up. Now with these products, at the end if the day when I put my hair up it goes around 2x. That's not to say I couldn't go a 3rd, but I don't need to now to make it stay. So cool! And my hair looks fuller and thicker as well.Oh. I need to mention the crunch. None to very little. I have put this to the test and used a LOT for my hair and still very little crunch. Only beautifully SOFT, touchable curls. Once my hair is dry, (I blow dry about 50% dry & air dry the rest on most days) I shake it out a bit and fluff the roots a bit and it just look beautiful. I go 4 days between washings and it looks good for all 4 days.Humidity test. I live in southern Cald and it is summer right now. My hair has not frizzed out at all. Last summer I wore ponytails a lot because of the frizz. I LOVE this stuff!I am sure you can tell my enthusiasm for this shampoo, conditioner, curl cream, and gel. GET IT! It's worth it, especially if you have my hair. I originally bought a travel set as a trail of this product and now I am sold and this is my curly hair product. Anyone need a brand new bottle of Cantu shampoo and conditioner? I will never go back

This High Definition Gel is amazing! It defines my curls beautifully without any crunch, keeps them moisturized, and tames frizz effortlessly. I love it so much that I’ve added it to my subscription—it’s essential for my daily routine. I only wish it was still sold in the 32oz size!

I switched from Deva Curl products to All About Curls and this gel is the only one I wasn't 100% satisfied with. It weighs down my curls a fair bit, and it feels like the gel doesn't disperse well. Still leaves it soft and not crunchy, but my hair doesn't stay as bouncy as if I only used the foam and not foam + gel.

Works just as good, if not better than designer brand. But costs half as much . I actually prefer the smell of this gel way better than the more expensive gel I used to use .

This product smells so good and its easy to apply but it doesnt even work that well for frizz. Anti frizz is the main this is advertised for but it doesnt work that well for it. Its good for curls and doesnt dry out the hair, though.

I’ve been searching for over a decade for products to tame my frizzy mane and by Jove here it is!I have 3B curly hair but it’s very thin and fine, and I’ve tried Herbal Essences and Garnier and other fruit and sweet smelling mousses. I’ve tried a few curly-hair specific gels but my hair is gets crunchy and they always exacerbate my dandruff.I’ve tried a few leave-in conditioners and even used lotion, which help in the winter when it’s dry but when frizz season kicks in my hair is a wild mess! I’ve tried so many different things and I sort of just got to the point where I “Wash, Put, Pray” and accept my good or bad hair day. Usually it was just “meh” though.I then came across a video on Facebook where I saw the model with hair like mine use leave-in conditioner, Durex lube (I know right? But it’s mostly just water so I get it), and hair gel. I went and ordered all 3 of those things, and picked this for the gel.My life has changed. This gel does get a little crunchy on the top, but that’s because I’m a little heavy handed at that spot. But I don’t get an itchy scalp. And oh my god are my curls formed into perfect little ringlets and so soft! I’ve tried using JUST the gel (no leave in or lube) and the results are still the same, if not better! And the next day I can get away with just light combing because the ringlets are still intact (I don’t sleep with a silk or satin pillowcase/head covering because I’m allergic to those materials UGH)!I’ve had so many good hair days with this and I never have to use expensive frizz serum. I will continue to buy and use this gel and will look into other products too! Do yourself a favor- buy this and never look back!

This lightweight gel has great hold for fine curls and lasts for several days. I love that the texture holds well in hair, doesn’t leave a sticky residue, and has no strong scent or odor. It’s easy to dispense and crunch into hair.

I love this non sticky gel ! It defined my curls sooo nicely and it's not crunchy ! The gel is also light but silky feeling.The smell is lighter then salon products but its a very nice scent....almost like clean and crisp smell. I will buy this again !!! This works better then my usual gel that cost over 30 dollars normally . I found my new favorite in this product !

I LOVED THIS GEL, TEAMED WITH THE BOUNCY CREME, IT WORKED GREAT ON MY FINE HAIR, NOT HEAVY AT ALL, JUST SOFT LOVELY BOUNCY CURLS, MY FAVOURITE SO FAR, AS I AM TRYING OUT SEVERAL PRODUCTS, TO SEE WHICH ONE WORKS BEST.
