5.0 out of 5 stars Very Happy
Just finished building the desk and quite happy with how quickly it went. The instructions have each piece labeled with letters / numbers but the actual parts do not have corresponding letters / numbers. That was a bit of a bummer, but it still built easily. All the pre drilled holes lined up w/o issue. Once together, the desk height adjusts seamlessly and is virtually silent. The desk is true to the size advertised, and I’m happy with what I selected. The 71” x 30” fits my two monitors, laptop, docking station, modem, mesh network router, and additional security device necessary for my work. When mounting my monitor arms, I did add a piece of wood to give it more stability. I would recommend this if you’re planning on mounting arms. That’s all I’ve got atm. I’ll update after using the desk for a while.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great work surface!
*Husband review*Sent this to Seller on JAN-26-2024:"Sharp edges observed at leading edge of panel joining. Recommendations for safety & level:(1) Full-length joining channel at front & rear instead of four short channels. Middle panel least support - continuous passive/active downward load with resting hands on keyboard.(2) Thicker gauge screws for joining channels, need better grab per above.Otherwise.. very nice, very quiet desk, good price."Assembly was fairly easy. The only challenging aspect was setting the leg width AND drive rod simultaneously. Otherwise, you should have this together within 2 hours, max: 30-45 minutes for the frame, and the rest of the time putting the top together, placing it on the frame, and situating the desk. A cordless drill with a low speed/high torque and torque adjustment dial will make this even easier. You just need one #2 Phillips and one Allen wrench bits to get this done. No hammers or other tools needed. They made it very simple especially with having the motor already mounted. Great instructions, too.The height adjustment is surprisingly quiet and VERY smooth. You have four programmable pre-set buttons with a manual UP and DOWN button. The lowest possible setting with the provided casters is a typical sitting desk or dining table height. So, depending on how you prefer to elevate your hands/arms for typing and using your mouse, you might consider an undermount keyboard/mouse thingy. It feels like the desk can be manually increased/decreased by 1/8" increments -- you really should have no issue finding the right height for you.The frame has substantial enough weight to keep the top from feeling the slightest wobble. This was my biggest issue with my prior desk -- if I bumped it during a video call, it would wobble and look like I was having an earthquake. And the top is substantial enough to mount reasonably weighted items underneath. Not just baskets and tracks to hold cords and surge protectors, but PC mounts if, again, it's reasonable. Make sure your screw length won't penetrate the top surface. For what you set on top the desktop surface, follow the manufacturer's limits for combined weight. The frame box includes two of these cord holders. When mounted, they're out of sight - out of mind, so.. I don't have a use for them, yet! But I suppose they could hold headphones or a corded earbud/IEM. Maybe a few cords, dunno.I got the 32"Wx63"L unit. In hindsight, I might have gotten the longer desk (73" I think) because my old desk was sort of L-shaped, but I'm using less equipment now that I have a KVM switch for my 2-PC / 2-monitor set-up. So I should be good to go.UNRELATED TO THE DESK ITSELF BUT CRITICAL TO KEEP IN MIND.. Just be very clear AND CAREFUL when setting up your cable management, accessories, and living beings stored/visiting under ANY sit-stand desk:- My PC is on a standalone cart just inches from the floor, under my desk to mitigate sound/vibration issues. I had to ensure my HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-3.0 cables (A) were long enough at the DESK'S MAX HEIGHT position AND MONITOR PLACEMENT and (B) didn't cause a trip hazard since there's a walking path along the backside of my desk. Be mindful of the absolute max-height needed where all your connections occur. The last thing you want is to proudly sit at your new desk, press the button for max height, hark! the herald desk rises to glory, annnnnnd your monitors (assuming on stands and not mounted on arms) get ever so slightly tilted then violently pulled back only to plummet to their demise.- I have two large speakers and my PC tower/cart under my desk. I had to make sure at the lowest possible position, the motor would not crush/break or otherwise come in contact with the top of those items. Luckily, the speakers are ~3" away from the bottom of the motor, and the PC is set on the outside, between one of the legs and the wall. If you keep a filing cabinet or some other accessory under the desk, be aware of all elements under the desk's structural components during set-up.- Goes without saying.. Watch for small children and pets when raising and lowering the desk. When the desk achieves the lowest point, there are likely pinch points at the base of each leg.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best adjustable desk ever.
The assembly was a bit touch and go but overall a success. I have three monitors, two keyboards, a lamp,a docking station and a book or two and it holds up fantastically. It's super quiet when you adjust it and sits at good hights. I'm 5'4" and it sits a bit high for me but that's me not reading. I like the light up pad that comes with it. Just make sure you aren't using things that clamp onto the mat, like a monitor mount because messes up the LED lights in the pad. It still works properly but I made a minor indention. It's super sturdy though and I'm super happy with this purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great desk for the price!
Was on the border about ordering this desk after reading some of the reviews about the build quality, instructions, raise and lower motor and wobbling. I've had it for almost 2 months now with only one small complaint, the desk top material leaves fingertip marks and from anything you place on it.. they wipe away easy but still a little annoying.First off the most negative reviews I saw were for the assembly instructions and it taking "mechanically inclined" people multiple hours to figure it out. I just want to state I'm one of the least mechanically inclined on the planet and it only took me 40 minutes to setup, however, it did require me to drill new holes to mount the desk top on the legs but that was just because that's how I wanted the legs to be.So far have had 0 issues with the raise/lower motor and little to no wobbling but it is sitting on padded carpet so idk if this is worse on hardwood flooring.Overall for the price I'd give it a 10/10. Yes there could be improvements but that would also add to the price!
4.0 out of 5 stars Great size desk (71x36)
I'm a fan of this big desk, the only gripe I have with it is how long it took to put together and the fact that the electric motor for making it stand doesn't seem like one that'll stand the test of time. After having it for several months it already sounds like it's straining to stand the desk and I imagine with time It'll completely fail. I have 2x 24 inch monitors, a laptop, x2 mice and x2 keyboards on the desk and that seems to be more than enough weight for the little motor, hopefully if it ever goes out I can just replace it with another one.
Great work space. Great quality.
I bought the 70x30 size to use as a crafting work space. It was fairly easy to assemble but it really takes 2 people. I wish the instructions had mentioned that it’s best to prepare/assemble the desktop before putting together the legs. The lift mechanism works perfectly and is quiet. Being able to preset 4 heights is a great feature. My only negative is that the large 70x30 desktop comes in 3 pieces that have to be bolted together. This means there are 2 seams on the surface. But this is minor and so far has not impacted my work. I’m very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend.
Amazing desk for price
Great desk love the how you can adjust it, perfect length to hold my gaming setup with my Desktop 2x monitor and a laptop in it just perfect. Had an issue where i was sent the older tabletop with the new legs, still managed to make it work but was sent the 2nd tabletop free of charge
as expected sturdy and big enough
desk very big and can go high enough - sturdy and great color I think it's a good investment
Excellent Product
Desk size is perfect and is a rare item to find on Bolo. Height adjustment is great as most other units won’t go as high as this one. Extremely well made and durable product.
so much room
I needed a larger desk to fit my computer and accessories. I edit a lot of photos, so I have my computer, keyboard mouse (the usual) plus a wacom tablet. Not to mention a light, scanner and room for a cup of coffee. I searched for awhile and found this desk. It was the largest I found, so I ordered it.It was easy to assemble (however when mounting the desktop to the legs make sure the cable is clear. If you have to unscrew the legs from the wood the screw will no longer hold tight), took me about 15 minutes tops. There are pilot holes everywhere so you can choose which side of the desk is the "front".As I mentioned, I needed space and this desk gives me just that. I can easily edit photos without having to rearrange the desk for the wacom tablet, and once I am done the tablet fits perfectly on the desk without obstructing anything. It feels sturdy but at the same time I am not sitting on the desk. The power lift works perfect, smooth and secure. Great feature in my option. The only downside, is they ship the desk in seperate boxes. I am not sure if they ship on different days or not, but the legs arrived a week before the desktop which was annoying.
