These are fairly heavy duty handle bags - mind the measurements. They are not large. Totally will work for our purpose. They are plain, brown paper - so you can decorate them - or add a rafia ribbon. Very happy with the purchase. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.
