Small and lightweight, yet still strong and durable. The case comes with an inside padding so I’m confident in its protection. Was ready to go after I plugged it in, my computer recognized it and was easy to set up. have already burned and watched dvds on it. Love love love!

Ordered this item to digitize my large CD collection so that I could listen to my music on the go. This drive can read very quickly, and when used with 3rd party music management software, allows to you record the music in a number of formats to be compatible with almost any device.The drive is small, sturdy, and well made. It is easy to attach to a PC with the included USB data cord, power cord, and TF to SD card adaptor. The card adaptor allows you to read from the CD, then immediately write to a storage card, all from the same unit. The drive reads and writes very quicky, and can import a music CD in 5 minutes or less. I have not tried working with other formats (DVD, etc) but have no doubt it woudl work equally well with those standards. This device includes everything needed to add an optical drive to your modern laptop!

I recently purchased this drive because my laptop does not have a drive in it. I now have to use peripherals. This drive is nice because it's portable, lightweight, and most importanly, gives you two options for plugging in -- both USB A and C, and the C is universal. I had no problems plugging this directly into my Mac and the device showing up on the Mac. I was able to use it immediately to upload CDs and it worked like a charm (I used different audio conversion software than the one the product came with). It isn't the fastest upload, but it uploads quick enough, hence my rating of four stars. If it were REALLY fast then it would get 5 stars. Everything else seems to work perfectly and it's an great, portable device, especially for those of us on the go. I don't regret this purchase at all and would recommend it for those that are seeking a very affordable, portable CD/DVD drive.

Self installed quickly with no issues on small GMTEK cube computer with N100 processor and Windows 11 PRO. In fact the driver installed so fast I didn't see it happen. Maybe just class compliant but pleased for no issues or warnings. Everything just worked. Can see DVD player device available while also my USB stick plugged into the external USB port. Was able to control/work with each independently. I have the small cube chassis mounted behind the display so having a bit longer device cable allows it to reach the table top. Using an older USB A power adapter I had hanging around for USB power so not needing second USB port on computer itself. All in all off to good start!

I appreciate that this product is compact, fairly priced, looks great, and worked without any noticeable drama. I ordered the one with white casing and plugged it into a LG Gram running Windows 11. The nicely padded soft-side storage case is also an excellent touch. Overall a terrific value purchase.

The set up was easy. The unit is ligt weight and sturdy. For my mac - i plugged it in and it automatically did it's computer connection thing. It's initially was a little loud during setup but not after the inital plug in. The dual usb/usbc is perfect for different computers.T my surprise - Roofull sent two messages simply to check how set up was and if I needed any assistance. This was unexpected and great.Then I remembered seeing a card offering a two year extended warranty FOR FREE!I replied to the messages and also to the two year warranty extension.

I plan to use the external drive to watch movies on my laptop. I missed the drive on my old laptop because my new laptop did not come with a disc drive. I could not view my many dvd’s on my laptop. The external drive was easy to set up, and I am not tech savvy. I believe most people could do it with no issues. It also comes with a nice storage pouch. I’ve only watched one movie, but everything worked fine! I would recommend this product!

Drive Works with my Dell Latitude 7400 Laptop Windows 11 ! I was very impressed with the presentation of the Burner. It came very nice and neat . the Cord tucked away in the bottom side of the drive, fits like a glove and the attached cable re-tucks in under the drive very nicely. I have tested This drives ports on the back and side of the drive. They appear to function fine with SDRam, Hauppauge Tv Card, WD 4 TB External Hard Drive , and external High Def Camera, all Thumb drive ports work as well. It burns and reads +/_ CDROM, +/- DVD Rom Ram and DL. as well as Burns CDA For CD Player just fine. I am using Nero 8 to burn with. Rating 5 Stars !
Muy funcional
Buen producto, lee todo tipo de cds, hasta ahorita no me ha dado problema, lo único es q hace un poco de ruido al leer los cd (tampoco es insoportable) y el cable es un poco corto sin embargo por lo funcional que es, si recomiendo su compra
