I have been looking for a nice fan for years. I have had this fan for about a week now and use it every night, all night.1. Well-built.2. Moves a ton of air!3. Makes a lot of white noise which I need for sleeping.4. Only 2 drawbacks that I see are (1) The power cord is pretty short - maybe a few feet, and (2) You have to make sure the screw and nut stays tight at the bottom, otherwise you might get a rattle sound.1-MONTH UPDATE: Still works great, but I need to add 1 more drawback: When I plugged the fan into a power strip, the motor got hot and smelled like it within 1 hour of running on low. When it's plugged into the wall directly, no problems. I am NOT an expert in electricity, so my power strip might be bad, not grounded, etc. That was just my experience - so I would stick with only plugging it into the wall outlet, and not a power strip.

I live in a small home that was built in the 70s. There's no central Heat and Air but i have quality units in the wall and window in my room. My home stays at 72 year round. I recently had to have my main wall unit replaced and it's a few BTUs less but way more efficient. It needed some help to circulate and i have the perfect spot for it. There is some white noise but nothing my 7.1 surround sound isn't knocking out. The fan is angled and completely circulates the air in my kitchen/living space. It's amazing that one quality shop fan can make such a big difference in the majority of my home. It's sturdy, easy to clean and mine hasn't had any issues, digs, ect. The low setting is more than enough for 5-600sqft so I'm sure in a larger space, would be very effective. I hope it lasts a long time

This review is for the 12” diameter fan by Simple Deluxe.We needed a fan for drying residual water on tiles of our bathroom shower. Wow, this fan is a little powerhouse! Only 12” diameter, but moves mountains of air. Dries a very tall large tiled line shower on about 20 minutes. Simply amazing.What I like most about this fan is the easy-to-clean feature—metal clips and a small bolt hold the grille in place. Very easy to undo and allows you to wipe off dust from the grille and impeller. No metal screws into plastic fittings which allow just a few undo-ings until the plastic threads get stripped. Why is this so important? Keeping the impeller free of built up dust and grime allow the fan to work efficiently w less friction and kess wear/tear on the motor.More about why I like this fan…Brushless motor. This is built to last. It might need a few drops of oil from time to time. That’s alot easier and economical than replacing the entire appliance. (A “brush” motor has little carbon pins that make contact to keep the motor running…but with each turn of the motor, those pins (“brush”) wear down until eventually no contact can be made, and the motor will not turn anymore.).Whirring sound like a smooth propeller. Perfectly centered, no wobble or asymmetry. Almost a white noise type sound.Solid construction, all metal.3 speeds. High moves 1800 CFM ! Moves mountains of air in a tiny 12” size.Best of all, EZ to clean! Did I already explain how easy this fan is to clean? It is a rare gem in a sea of throw away plastic fans with metal screws into plastic threads that allow only a few undoings before they will not hold together anymore and the entire appliance needs to be replaced.P.S. During summer heat dome weather, we place this on the floor of our coolest room. It distributes cool air and the room feels as if it has a little AC on.Bottom line: highly recommend this fan for quality build, function and compact-but-mighty size.

Used this fan for a while now.Good pointsPuts out a decent amount of air even on low.Less bulky than I expected (compared to a similar one I have).Profile is on the thinner side and pretty easy to move around due to lower weight and handle loop on back.Not so good pointsFan is pretty noisy even on low. If I put in the hallway about 20 feet from the living room, I still have to turn the TV up to overcome the fan noise. Guess this is the trade off. In order to move a good amount of air, you have to have a more aggressive profile on the fan blades. This aggressive profile is going to create noise in operation. So, quiet and move not so much air to size or louder and move more air. Point of fan is to move air so I live with the extra noise.This one is a personal thing, but I wish the cord on it was just a bit longer. With the size of the fan, often I find that I would like to place it in a certain spot, but seems the cord is always that bit too short to get it where I'd like it. If the cord was just 2 or 3 feet longer it would be a more useful size.Bottom lineYes, I'm glad I purchased it. Would I buy again. Yes. Although, I'd pay more attention to cord length and see if I could get the same fan with a slightly longer cord.

Good sturdy fans that move a lot of air without being too large. I already have one of these that's lasted 2 years outdoors, so I picked up another two this time. Great fans an a good value, especially in the two-pack.

This is a very nice fan with steel frame, steel protective screen, steel control box and aluminum fan blades. The fan was fully assembled right out of the box. All I had to do was to remove the plastic wrap captured underneath the floor bumpers by removing the screws, removing the wrap and reinstalling the screws. The fan's performance is stellar - appears to be a powerful heavy duty motor. Very good noise to air movement ratio. Very low vibration. I will definitely buy again. I can highly recommend it.

The power of the fans are fantastic. Comes with 3 different speeds. The value of the fans were great for what I paid for. Very easy to install stands.
Works fantastic
I bought this fan because I was having trouble with my air conditioners and my place was sooooooo hot. This fan is well worth the money. It’s powerful and blasts the air around. Although it’s a BIT noisy, it works so well, I forget about the noise. I have other fans in my place but this one is far superior than the others. Spend the extra money on this. It was a cinch to put together and is very sturdy on its stand.

Excelentes ventiladores
Tienen mucha potencia, ventilan rápidamente un cuarto amplio. Los puse en mi taller de carpintería que tiene techo de lámina y han ayudado mucho a soportar el calor

Good little fan! I got the 12" and am impressed with the amount of air it moves, it's perfect to stay cool on a hot day working in the shop which it what's its designed for so disregard the reviews saying it's too noisy. Yes it's noisier than a regular fan but it's desgnied for shop/outdoor use not indoors although I'm sure it would work excellent indoors as well.Will upgrade to 5 stars if it stands the test of time.
