When I get a cold, liquid pours out of my eyes and nose like water. I can't see. I have to sit in a dark room. It's miserable. Alka-Seltzer Plus Liquid Gels are the only product I've found that even mitigates these symptoms. (They don't eliminate them but they definitely lessen my suffering.) When I came across this Sinus, Allergy, & Cough variation which seems to specifically target the cause of my suffering, I decided to give it a try. And it does seem to be more effective. Unfortunately, there is a side effect that is not on the box. They make me drowsy. REALLY drowsy. There is a different variation of this product (Night) specifically intended to help with sleep. This Sinus, Allergy & Cough variation is even more effective at making me sleepy. Night after night with no reduction in effectiveness, I can sleep for 10-11 hours after just one gelcap. I don't even wake up to go to the bathroom. I really wish I could use these during the day but when I've tried I just feel jetlagged. I'm having to use the less efffective Day variation during the day and this variation at night.When I found these on Bolo, I wondered why they weren't available locally anywhere. I'm guessing this is why.
