The fixture is high quality and easy to install. Appreciated the push connectors so bulky wire nuts were not needed. Only beef was that the punch outs were not where I needed it. No matter, I just drilled a 1/2 inch hole in the fixture where I wanted, easy peasy. I like the 3 color options which helps reduce the stark brightness of the LEDs. I installed under home office cabinets, just what I needed.

Fairly easy to install if you are handy. Instructions could have better images and larger print.1. Remove diffuser lens2. Remove two end screws3. Separate the unit in its two halves4. Mark the cut out holes, drill, screw base unit into place5. Route wires, apply wire nuts and snap in other half6 Replace diffuser lens.I like the three different color settings, and dimming actually works! The old LED fixture I replaced stated it was dimmable, but it wasn't.The power leads had funky connectors on their ends and weren't long enough. I used some old 2 + ground wire to extend the wires out of the hole punch-out. The manufacturer should address this. There should be plenty of excess wire to hang outside of the unit no matter which hole punchout you have to use for your installation situation. Your unit should be controlled by a light switch or rheostat. So long as this switch is off, you should not have to shut of your power or the affected circuit for installation.Even so, I would purchase it again.

The media could not be loaded. I just purchased and received the 12" cabinet light today. I decided to install a cable/plug to try it out and see how bright it would be and to see how difficult it might be to install. Installing on the underside of the cabinet should not be too much of a problem but wiring it and cable management will be! I spent at least 30 minutes doing all of that while the light was laying on a work bench with easy access! Now, try doing that while bent over, looking up, and managing the cables while trying to close the cover. If you have never done anything like this it will be a challenge. (You might want to line up a good chiropractor!)You must have a lot of patience's or considering hiring someone to do it.!Other issues you will encounter is the limited amount of space in the fixture to manage the cable, knockouts that you must be careful in removing and reinstalling the diffuser after you get through. The diffuser can be an issue. Again, it was not that difficult but try doing that in a very awkward position!Finally...is this a good light? Yes...I think once it is installed you will be happy with it!Update: I ended up ordering three more. 18” 24” 36”. I did hire an electrician to install and all went! The electrician was familiar with the brand/type and thought I would be happy with them. I love the fact that changing the color of lights is easy to do. I will try to include a video!

Excellent lights with three different settings. Replaced old lights with bulbs that got so hot the light fixtures would burn you. These were very easy to I stall and look great. I highly recommend them.

Bought this to replace an old fluorescent fixture. It is much, much better: instant on, no buzzing, more natural color. As others have mentioned, though, it can be a bear to install. Having a second person to hold it up would help. I did not have this, so I had to spend a couple profanity-filled hours hovering over my sink in the most uncomfortable, bent-over-backwards position. Hanging the base on the cabinet wasn't too bad, but the internal wires were extremely uncooperative. I had to tape them in place before I could get the rest of the fixture installed.Aside from the cumbersome setup, the only negative I've noticed with this fixture is the three-way color temperature switch. It works, but the 2700K setting produces the most sickly, jaundiced yellow I have ever seen. The 4000K and 5000K settings are significantly better, if not much differentiated. I keep it on 4000K. This is a good color temperature for washing dishes or cleaning the sink, but I don't usually keep it on for ambient lighting.I'm happy with this fixture, but if I had to do the project again, I might look for something that would be easier to install.

Instructions were helpful in getting the light installed. There isn't alot in the package to confuse you. It's what you see is what you get but for the money, it's the best under counter lighting on Bolo.
