Super cheap but super simple barcode scanner! It's plug and play and acts as a keyboard when connected to a computer. I have had no issues scanning barcodes, QR codes, and more. One nice feature is that the settings adjustments are done via barcodes printed in the manual. For example, if you want the scanner to read the barcode and then hit enter, you simple scan a barcode in the manual to put it in the correct mode. This is really helpful and negates the need to install any type of software. I will be ordering 10-20 more of these for my clerks.

This is the second purchase of 2 wireless barcode readers in 2 days, the first order is going back. This one is exactly as described. Plug and play into 3 Windows 10 PCs, already paired to the wireless dongle. Works fast, reads easily, range seems fine in our small warehouse. Not tested thoroughly but impressed so far. The others I had at over double the price left me playing for over 2 hours and I could not get the outdated bluetooth dongles working, and using with a lead wasn't brilliant.

Scans the 1D barcode really quickly and nice on physical materials. We also use it to scan students' ID's on their phones which is a QR code. It scans it but requires multiple tries and does not pick up the QR code quickly as we'd like.
5.0 out of 5 stars Plug 'n Scan - Immediately Scanning
I plugged the provided cable into the scanner and plugged the other end into the PC, Opened up a text editor on my computer and started scanning PDF417 and 1D barcodes displayed on my computer screen. It seems to read better off-axis meaning not perpendicular to the screen. I suspect it is because the scanner has a LED light on it to illuminate the "paper". When scanning a computer screen or phone screen barcode, the light is not needed. The manual has barcodes to scan to enable/disable features. If I needed to, I could turn off the light but it is easy enough to scan the barcode on the computer screen at an angle. No drivers were needed...simply plug it in and start scanning.

Received my scanner quickly and was able to use right away with no set up. I had to catalog 200 Access Points by scanning the Mac Address and Claim code (QRC). This scanner has saved me a lot of time and already paid for itself. I highly recommend this product.

I get sent photos of shipping labels at work and have to input into a spreadsheet. This is a life saver and has cut down my data entry time so much!!

Scanner work right out of the box. Nice. To compare, I found for qr codes, I was able to read 50 eight character alpha numeric words into separate rows in excel. Which was the max I was able to scan with it.I have an old Motorola 4308 that is able to scan 100 of the same 8 char alpha numeric. But this was much cheaper.To read computer screen I needed to your off light with a simple barcode from manual. The manual even tho for some people may not have been complete. But for me it was very quick to find what I needed and worked great.
