Maximum Strength Mucinex Fast-Max Severe Congestion & Cough and Mucinex NightShift Cold & Flu are multi-symptom relief medicines for day & night cold symptoms. Day Time liquid helps relieve nasal and chest congestion, controls cough and thins & loosens mucus. Night Time liquid helps reduce fever, relieves headache, minor aches and pains, sore throat, coughing, sneezing, runny nose for a better morning. This product contains a total of 12 FL OZ (2x6 FL OZ bottles). It can be used by adults and children 12 years of age and over.
KEY INGREDIENTS
DAY TIME ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Contains Dextromethorphan HBr - Cough suppressant; Guaifenesin - Expectorant; Phenylephrine HCI - Nasal decongestant

I have a lot of issues with congestion and cough especially during the night when lying down. This product really helps with my cough, and elimination of mucus and congestion. Also helps with body aches, and helps me get to sleep. I will definitely buy again.

I tend to use a less expensive brand, but I know what I'm in for. 4 hours after taking the night version if I wake up, I'm having some difficulty walking straight! It effects me for a clear 8 hours onwards.This particular syrup does a somewhat better job, in particular relieving nasal congestion and sinus pressure, and when I wake up early I find no significant detachment from motor skills.It is over twice as much and with the other, that thing knocks me out so it has the added benefit of when I want to go to sleep, but for the most part, this is far superior.
