Much smoother, creamier texture, great chocolate flavor and cost about the same.However, this being my first purchase of Premier Protein Powder, Chocolate Milkshake, the results are still out as to how well and for how long it can or will satisfy my hunger. That is where Amazing Shake has been my go to Protein Shake for over 2 years now.If this stuff lasts as long on hunger, this may be my new goto Protein Meal Replacement shake! Just cannot yet claim a victory... not for a few more days at least! Be sure to have a very healthy, vegetables meats and starch dinner meal with a healthy salad... especially if you're skipping meals or replacing 2 of three meals as I am. I ALWAYS have a green salad w low fat dressing, and never eat any processed or refined sugar in my diet. Since I cut refined sugar, I am losing 2 to 3 lbs a day, without working out at all... But CAN NOT EAT ANYTHING WITH SUGAR OR ANYTHING WHICH DIGESTS INTO A BASIC SUGAR CARBOHYDRATE... LIKE BLEACHED WHITE RICE AND TOTALLY AVOID PROCESSED FOODS! I.E. MICROWAVE DINNERS! IT TAKES MORE TIME TO PREP, BUT ITS 100 TIMES BETTER FOR YOU AND YOH WILL WAKE UP FEELING GREAT!NOT HUNGRY! WHEN IBWAS EATING SO MUCH SUGAR, AND ITS IN LITERALLY EVERYTHING! I FELT AWFUL! EVEN EATING RELATIVELY HEALTHY... THAT SUGAR IS A DRUG YOUR BODY CRAVES!IF YOU WAKE UP HUNGRY! STARVING IN THE MORNING! Sugar is why! I have tried several protein powders and this is the one I am most pleased with. It has a great vanilla flavor, mixes well and helps me get protein in the mornings as I dont eat breakfast. I mix the powder in my coffee to help me feel fuller and again, get the protein my body needs. I use a milk frother to help mix it all up, which adds a nice foamy texture to my coffee. Doing this also helps me not have to use creamer, so saving on the calories and fat. PERFECT! This came packaged well, sealed correctly and at a much cheaper price than in store! I will be back for more!

Nice creamy vanilla taste and mixes well in my shaker cup even if I don't use the wire whisk part. I agree with some other reviewers that it is quite sweet if you use only 6-8oz water with 2 scoops powder as per the instructions. I personally prefer 10oz water, and if I need caffeine, 1-2t instant coffee. It tastes great either way (plain or with added coffee). You could even add decaf instant coffee if you just want the flavor but not the caffeine. Maybe this would also work with the chocolate powder, but I haven't tried it yet. Yeah the powder comes in cafe latte flavor, but many people said it didn't taste good. This way you can titrate the amount of caffeine and coffee flavor that you want, including none if you're in the mood for just vanilla.Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it has a lot less of the vitamins and minerals than the premade shakes. I wish it had as much calcium and vitamin D as the premade shakes.

This is by far the best tasting chocolate protein shake I've ever had. It makes such a difference when I make shakes. It's rich and chocolatey, and simply delicious. I have been purchasing this for over a year now. It's very high in protein with 15grams per scoop. I also use it in my protein mug cakes and they taste soo good. I've also baked with it and have had much success with that too. It comes well sealed in a big container with a lid. Well worth the money for the amount you get.
