UPDATE 2 - I was having issues with losing signal and occasionally showing me "off road" driving in a field or a parallel road, but locking back in. When I contacted the seller I was directed to download an update that should correct the issue, More important - they have always responded quickly - 1 to no more than 3 days including weekends!This GPS seems to be as good as the "Name Brand" units friends have but for an amazing priceI've had this for a few weeks and traveled about 500 mi and (other than a few times it momentarily "lost signal") it has been doing well - especially when I missed a turn and had to take a "scenic" tour of Pittsburgh to get back on track without going under low bridges etc.Overall, I like this unit & love the price. I drive a 40' Class A motorhome and programmed my height, wgt. etc. and use RVTrip Wizard to plan my route. So far, this has been in line with the programs routingI like that I could program my maximum speed (62mph) and (like a mother in law in the back seat) it would tell me to slow down, this in addition to the normal monitoring of posted speed limits.Screen is large, informative but volume could be louder.We are on a multi state trip and will post again if any issues. So far we got all we expected and more!UPDATE - The more I use this, the more I get used to this, the better I like it. Feature rich and informative.
1.0 out of 5 stars Not A Good GPS, Not A Good Buy
This is a toy GPS. I'm sure someone could make this work but I question why. It has a nice sized screen but it is so hard to use that it's irrelevant. We tried and tried to get it to work but thankfully managed to return it just before the window closed. Here's one weird example and this is no joke. In a Settings sub-menu we found entry bars for "Bra Size" and "Cup Size". I'm not kidding and have no idea what that's about. We returned it and bought a Garmin Drive 52. It is a basic GPS that was instantly functional and made sense to program. The screen is smaller but it is plenty big and it actually fits in both our cars better. The Garmin has an easily detachable ball mount with many mounting options available, including aftermarket. The Ohrex uses a flimsy plastic clippy-thing that only works with the suction cup mount that comes with it, and does not work well with that. The Ohrex manual says that it will not work right unless it's on top of the dash. If it's in your hands or in front of the dash it may not pick up a signal. That's a large loss of visibility and the Garmin has no such difficulty. Save yourself a headache and buy something else. The Garmin was $34 more.

Update: Just returned from a long trip using the OHREX N800 GPS Navigator. It worked pretty well getting the fastest route and giving voice directions.The map shows gas stations and you are able to tap on them and go to them as waypoints (WP). I added some WPs during the trip and it will let you choose the time you will be at the WP to delay the voice navigation to resume.It had trouble rerouting when a turn was missed and sometimes would eventually reroute although, a few times, I had to back out of navigation then start it again for it to plan the route.The POI was less than helpful; while parked at a shopping center at our destination, it said we were at Kmart which had not been there since the mid-2000s.Not having live traffic and construction made travel less predictable although the historical traffic did advise of common congested areas.The OHREX N800 GPS Navigator worked well enough considering it is much cheaper than any brand name GPS.Most people use phones for their navigation however, they require cell signal to work. Sometimes cell is not always available so, we bought this OHREX N800.The good: 1. It can be set to account for semis, RVs, boat trailers and such. 2. It has a large screen that is easy to see. 3. It does not require cell to work. 4. Does provide an alternate route that can be selected. 5. Over speed limit warning which is adjustable for how much over the speed limit it will warn you. 6. Route planning 7. Waypoint setting that you can add to your tripThe less than good:1. The POI cannot always find common places that have been around for decades, even though it has the "latest map set" from OHREX. This will require you to type in the exact address.2. Does not have real-time traffic like Waze.Summary:If you not concerned about up to date POIs and do not need real time traffic, but prefer the larger screen and want to free up your cell phone; this may be a good option

I've been using this gps for over a month and i do duplicate with the app to just to confirm the route. I put in my tractor trailer dims and weights and it works as expected. 5+ to start. I do not see for now any rweasons to get expensive one ones i'm not get any proof that i need it/ I will continue to use this one. One more question to the manufacture, is to update maps with the new bridges and exists, because we have them a lot on the road and they dont match the current map, but this is just a small concern since we drive a truck and i follow the road signs and not the gps. That is a big deal.

Big problem is the user Interface is poor and there is no technical support you are on your own. But it has some nice features and works fairly good.If you are persistent and want to spend a lot of time trying to learn how to use it. the user manual Is poor. If you contact their Support for help.They refer you to a youtube video that does not answer your question. They claim to be current for information as of 2024 but places show up that were not in existence ten years ago. Poor battery life. No cord to plug into ac to use indoors. Did not update if a new route was choosen. Tried to get you to return to old route way beyond what was "reasonable" (100 miles)
